Colby's POV

I start laughing as I see Ayriona get knocked over by a gust of wind. I look over at Brennan to see him staring at Courtney for a moment before running over to the red-head laying on the ground, who happens to be glaring at her best friend in a comical way.

"Hey Satan, you okay?" Courtney manages to gasp out between bits of laughter.

"THAT came out of nowhere..." Ayriona replies sarcastically as she grabs Brennan's outstretched hand and stands up.

"We live in Minnesota! The weather is unpredictable." I say as I duck under the net to the girls' side of the court.

"Mhh hmm. The weather IS unpredictable isn't it." Satan states as she brushes the sand off of her pants.

"Hey guys!"

The four of us whip our heads around to see a familiar blonde bounding towards us.

"Hey Sam!" Brennan shouts back as he slings his arm around Satan's shoulders. "Whatcha doin here?"

"Was with Reed and Big Nik at the park and was heading over to Uncle Elton's." He replies as he stops in front of us.

"He doesn't know you're coming over does he?" Courtney asks after studying his face for a moment.

"Ummm..." He starts as he rocks back and forth on his feet. "I wasn't going to Elton's..." he finishes as a blush starts to creep up to his cheeks.

"So...where were you really going?" Brennan asks.

"Iwasgoingtoagirlshouse..." He mutters quickly.

"...what?" Brennan, Satan and I ask at the same time.

"Ooh. Sammy has a crush?" Courtney exclaims excitedly as she stars bouncing up and down.

Sam's face turns bright red as he tries to hide his face from us. I shoot him a look that he needs to explain this to me later. He simply shakes his head quickly before letting out a nervous laugh.

Sam's POV

There goes my plans for going to her house...

"Well I'd better get going. See you guys later!" I say as I start walking away.

"You sure you don't wanna stay and hang out with us?" Brennan asks as he pulls Ayriona closer to his side.

"Nah. It's fine. I have to get home anyways." I reply while pulling my phone out of my pocket to check the time.

4:18 p.m.

"Oh, ok. Bye Sam!" Colby shouts to my back as I start walking home.

I walk through the front door of my apartment and see my older sister sitting at the island in the kitchen sipping on something in a coffee cup that I can only assume is coffee.

"Hey Allie. When did you get home?" I ask as I pull out a bar stool and sit down across from her.

"About fifteen minutes ago." She sighs as she takes another sip of her coffee.

"Long day at work?" I question.

"You have no idea..." she trails off before finishing her cup and setting it on the counter by the sink. "Well I'm gonna go take a nap." She says while yawning and turning to walk upstairs.

"You're sure you aren't part cat for as much as you sleep?" I ask as she starts upstairs. She just gives me the middle finger as she continues to ascend the stairs to her room.

"Love you too sis!" I shout and chuckle as she turns down the hall at the top of the stairs towards her room.

Blue-eyes POV

I hate seeing her with him. I just don't know what he has that I don't. I just want to talk to her again. To tell her how much I like her. But I guess it's too late for that...he beat me to it... I just want to be able to call her mine.
