The three siblings have been travelling for 3 days now; They finally have reached the hidden leaf. As soon as they neared the gates. Kakashi, Sakura and Lady Tsunade was there. This must be serious.
"I'm glad you could make it Gaara" states Lady Tsunade.
"We're glad we could help" says Temari in a somewhat proud tone. 'Does she consider this a joke' Gaara thought giving her a angry glare.
"We will show you where he was last saw" says Kakashi worried. Even with the sequel of 'Make out paradise' hiding his face. I could practically see the worried expression on his face. The three siblings followed without saying a word. This was for Naruto and Gaara was not planning on joking around. His older brother and sister seeing the expression on his face, saw how much this meant to him.
"H-here was the last place I saw him" stutters Sakura, Gaara swore he could not even a tear fall from her eye.
"You was the last person to see him?" Gaara questioned in a annoyed tone. Glaring at her in disbelief.
"Y-y-yes" she replies. Gaara could clearly see she was upset. But no where near as upset when Sauske left. The slightest thought of it sent anger all through his body. 'Why does Naruto even like her! She's aggressive and practically heartless unless it's something to do with Sauske. Sauske this and Sauske that. She honestly just gets on my nerves' Gaara thought to himself clearly annoyed.
"What happened?" Asked Kankruo. He was even questioning her.
"Well" she replied. Even lady Tsunade was glaring at her now.
"We were on our way back from Ichiraku ramen. He invited me saying he wanted to talk to me about something" she answered.
"Continue" replies Temari.
"No, why did he invite you" Gaara said still glaring at her. Temari and Kankruo were staring at Gaara now. They haven't seen Gaara like this in a while.
"We got there and ordered...He started talking about Sasuke. Thinking he failed me and that we would never get him back" she contained not looking at him to avoid the glares he was giving her. 'Sauske? He must miss that idiot. Poor Naruto.' He said his glare softening at the thought of that knucklehead.
"We paid and left after about 10 minutes. He walked me home. He told me about you Gaara" she said as a smirk crawled across her face.
"M-me?" he stuttered. He could feel my face going red. 'Oh no, I really am in love with Naruto Uzumaki' he thought alarmed.
"Yeah I teased him about not hitting on me, he said he had someone else in mind" replied Sakura practically exploding with excitement.
"O-oh" He says disappointed. He thought she was going to tell him that he said something actually about him. Not his crush that's probably Hinata. Temari saw the sad expression lingering on his face. Tsunade and Kakashi was watching. He thought that they figured out he loved Naruto. 'This is bad' he thought to himself.
"What has this got to do with Gaara?"Asks Temari.
"Then he murmured your name! I think he likes you Gaara and you two are so so so so adorable!" she squealed. Now Gaara was bright red. And determined to get Naruto back more than ever.
"Enough with the Childs play, what happened next" said Kankruo frustrated.
"He dropped me off and headed home, then disappeared..." she said sadly. 'Maybe she does have emotion after all. Maybe I was wrong and she was just excited to tell me about her theory of Naruto liking me.' Gaara thought to himself once more.
"Hmmmm, show us the way he walks home. Maybe we can find some leads" states Temari sort of happy.
"I'll be at the Hokages office" says Tsunade walking off. "Sakura I expect a report as soon as possible. I'll send a search party tomorrow morning. They will be at the gates at dawn. Don't be late" she finishes disappearing onto the rooftops.
"I'll be going. I will prepare for tomorrow" says Kakashi.
"Follow me" says Sakura leading the trio through the streets Naruto walked in. They went from his house to Sakura's. Then they found something. They found a piece of Naruto's clothing caught on the edge of the fence.
"Looks like the first piece of evidence" says Kankruo picking it up carefully.
They jumped over the fence and found a trail of footsteps.
"We got them now all we need is a tracking squad" states Temari confidently.
"Like Lady Tsunade said, they leave at dawn. Your welcome to tag along" she replies hopefully.
"That's what we are here for" Gaara says. 'I'm coming Naruto. I won't leave you...In the Darkness' he thought to himself looking at the sun in the bright wintry sky.
