"How long until we can take a break!" Kankuro whines for the hundredth time today.
"This is such a drag..." Gaara heard Shikamaru mutter under his breath. This group is bounding with joy.
"From reports about 10 minutes... to reach the destination in three days.."Kakashi replies avoiding eye contact.
"So once we get there? What do we do then?" Sakura questions a sad look in her eyes. It seems to be worry.
"We dispose of them" Gaara state dryly causing everyone to gasp. Gaara hadn't been this vicious since...The Chunnin exams...
"Gaara you alright?" Temari asks in a worried tone.
"No one and I mean no one. Hurts naruto and gets away with it" Gaara replies without thinking. 'What did I just do? Great I am such an idiot. But our bond...is so strong. I can't let them get away with this. '
"Trouble ahead" Kakashi announces making everyone take to their fighting stances.
"Ugh Trouble" A guy states annoyed.
"Those are here for that Nine tails" Another one says With a smirk. Gaara hear himself growling in frustration.
"Where is he" Gaara says anger clearly visible.
"Heh, look who's askin' the Kazekage" He replies smartly causing Temari and Kankuro to growl.
"I wasn't asking. I was demanding" He simply answers looking them in the eyes.
"Unlucky. I ain't tell ya anythin'" He replies smugly.
His sand leaps out of my gorge at high speed. His sand wrapping round his body like a snake at it's prey.
"Sure?" Gaara questions hoping for information.
"N-never" He stutters in fright.
"Well, goodnight" He he sighs clenching his fist. "Sand coffin!"
"Sand Burial!" With that the corpse goes deep into the group.
"Grrrr! Water style! Water dragon!" The other shouts as a massive water dragon flies through the sky.
"First moon! Wind tornado!" Temari shouts stopping the attack.
"Muppet Mayhem!" Kankuro says loudly without giving the man any openings. He slumps down to the floor.
"That was useless" Shikamaru states boredly.
"Guys this isn't going to help" Kakashi says trying to cut the tension.
"I agree" Gaara says simply once more.
"We know they are close. Maybe we should of brought someone who is good with scents or visual justsu" Sakura observes.
"We have Neji?" Shikamaru states. Neji has been so quiet he wasn't really that noticeable.
"Yeah" Kakashi replies.
They walked for about two more hours with Neji in the lead. Until they set up camp for the night. 'Nearly there Naruto...' was what Gaara thought before drifting off in a tree.
