I briefly bolted up, hearing louder knocks than before. "WOULD YOU CUT IT OUT?" I called, getting up and stumbling over to my door. I unlocked it and swung it opened. It thrust into the wall and startled me, waking me up entirely.

I stared at the person behind the door, Edd. "Tom! Guess who returned?" Edd squealed. "I swear to GOD if it is that damn commie, I will rip your head off." I sternly growled.

Edd nervously smiled. "N-No! It's someone different!" Edd gripped onto my hand and lead me to Matt's apartment. Edd opened the door and there they were.

Matt was sitting in an armchair with that two spiked, red hood, bitch face, shitty attitude, Tord.

I grabbed Edd's head and chin and seriously attempted to break his neck. "NO, NO! IM SORRY!" He cried, tried to break out of my grasp. I let go and saw the Norwegian snickering.

"Wow—"

"No one asked you to speak, commie."

"No one asked you either, Jehovah."

We made eye contact with about 30 minutes until Edd caught our attention."So, Tom. Matt and I have already forgiven Tord for his actions, are you—"

I laughed, with my smile almost covering my entire face. "Oh, sure Edd! After this little asshole burned down our house and almost killed me, yeah! I'll forgive him alright!" I sarcastically stated, staring at Edd dead in the eye.

"Awesome!" Matt exclaimed. "No, Matt! He was being sarcastic! That means he didn't mean it..." Edd informed. Matt looked down in dismay. "Oh..."

"Oh, Tom. Always disliking me for my actions and being a little bitch~" He smirked. I only growled in response. "Seriously? Why can't you guys get along?" Matt questioned. I pointed to Tord, with him pointing back immediately.

"LOOK AT HIM!" We shouted in unison. "Oh, don't you copy my words," Tord growled. "Your words? Well, congrats, you fucking—"

"GUYS, PLEASE!" Edd whined. "Tom, you can go back to your apartment. If you won't forgive Tord, you can leave." Edd looked tired, stressed. He didn't look like he was in a good mood. I nodded and headed out the door, hurled it shut, striving to tell them that I wasn't in a good mood as well.

I headed back to my apartment and slowly creaked cleared the door. I sat down on my couch and laid back, staring up at my dark blue ceiling that was patterned in darker spots.

I heard chatter from the apartment next to mine, which was Edd's. It sounded like Tord having a sweet little conversation with Edd. Nothing that matters to me. I glanced back in my kitchen, resisting the urge to just drink my pain away.

I stood up, marching over to my fridge and peered. I stuffed my hand towards the end of my fridge, wrapping my hand around a smooth, glass-like neck. I bought the object towards me and studied it.

I gladly popped it opened and took a sip. My face scrunched up at the unfortunate taste. I stood up, heading over to my sink to dispose of it. I somehow lost my grip on the bottle and it fell, smashing in one million pieces, just like my soul.

I bent down as I heard Edd call from the other side. "You okay?" He yelled. "Yeah, yeah," I yelled back, concentrating on the broken shards. I stupidly sweep the glass with my bare hands and threw them out. I then brushed my hands together, ridding myself of little glass shards that might have been on my skin.

And, well.

I made it worse.

When I examined my hands again, I noticed small tiny shards, deep inside the palms of my hands. I groaned, seeing a small red liquid leak out. I knew the first thing I had to do was taking out the shards, and that's exactly what I did.

I scurried around, looking for tweezers and luckily I found one. I sat down on a stool and carefully tried pulling the shard out. It took me a couple of tries, but I managed to release the shard. I got a closer glimpse of the blood covered piece of glass.

I set the shard down on a napkin and snatched another napkin to clean my cut. I stopped in my tracks, staring at my arm. I rolled up my sleeve, glancing at all the cuts I had left around my wrists.

"It going to be even worse with Tord around. Why do I even bother existing?" I muttered, stuffed my hands in my face and trying to rethink this.

"If Tord is going to make me even more depressed, should he even be here? Should I be here? Should either of us really be alive?"

My thinking was disrupted when I heard my doorknob turn. "Hello, mother fucker."

"What do you want, commie?" I growled, averting my gaze. "Edd wanted me to check on you. Is your little bum-bum okay?" Tord smirked.

"Oh yeah, my little bum-bum is fine, Big asshole."

"Jeez, why the influential words?" Tord sighed, closing the door behind him and leaning on my wall.

"Ahem. You can leave now." I lamented, sitting up. Tord shook his head. "Make me~" I balled my hands into a fist and gritted my teeth. "Leave NOW, Tord."

Tord rocked his head again and repeated what he stated before. "Like I said, Make me~" I stood up, extremely irritated now. I stomped up to him and grabbed his arms. I threw my door opened and shoved him out, only to be snatched on by Tord. "I'm not going anywhere, Tommy~"

"Yes, you are!" I kicked Tord's legs, making him lose balance. I dragged him all the way to Edd's apartment and saw Edd standing there. "Tom! What are you doing?—" Edd grabbed Tord's arms and made him stand up.

"pokker deg," Tord growled. I mostly ignored his sentence and stomped back to my room, slamming the door shut and leaning on my door.

I raised my arms to my temple and keened. "Why do I even bother?"
