Ok- I'll admit it.

I fancy Tom.

More as a friend (are we even friends?)

After observing that in the bathroom, I couldn't help but feel infuriated.

Why would he do this?

Is it because of me?

It probably is.

I'm a homoerotic Norwegian that's the leader of a damn army and almost tried to take over the world.

But why does he want to die?

Why makes him so disappointed in life he doesn't even want to keep breathing?

I have to figure it out.

Since I've bunked with Tom, it was easy walking over to his room.

I seized the handle to his room and twisted it opened. Unlocked.

Huh, strange.

As I walked in, I saw Tom sitting on his bed, just staring at me. "Get out." He mumbled.

"Pfft― no." I chuckled, sitting at the end of his bed. "Why are you acting so strange all of a sudden?"

"What do you mean?" He responded, his face showing no emotion. "Oh, don't act stupid, Tom―"

"I'm not acting stupid―"

"You are―"

"Am not―"

I clasped a hand over Tom's mouth. "Stop interrupting me. And you are." Tom was about to rip my hand away from his mouth until I grabbed his wrist, making him wince. "Listen to me, Tom. I lied before. I know you may not believe me, but I care.  Why the hell are you thinking about killing yourself when you have almost everything I ever wanted?"

I slowly dropped my hand from his mouth, waiting for his response. "Wait- what do you mean almost everything you wanted?" Tom asked, somehow not yanking his other arm from my grasp.

"You have friends, an apartment, money-" This was hard trying to name stuff without mentioning anything perfect about him.

"What?" Tom asked, his cheeks a bright red.

"What?"

"You said I had beautiful, kissable lips.."

Shit. Did I say that?

"What? No, I didn't-"

"Yes, you did. I heard you. You specifically said 'your beautiful, kissable lips'. You can't pretend you didn't say that, Commie."
