Eggs and Dragonets

"They are perfect." Murmured Kinkajou. Her tail wrapped around her four eggs, each swirled with blue, green, and purple.

Moon smiled and nodded. "Have you and Turtle figured out names yet?" She asked.

Kinkajou ginned mischievously.
"We think so, but we are waiting until they hatch to announce their names. I want to make sure their names match their personalities."

Moon tapped a claw on one of the eggs gently, with a thoughtful look on her face.

"How can you tell which ones are boys and which ones are girls? As far as I know, Nightwings can't do that." She pointed out.

"I'm pretty sure no other tribe can do that. It's a Seawing thing." Kinkajou agreed. "You can ask Turtle more about it, if you wish. Or go to the library."

Moon laughed. Her friend knew her full well of her love of libraries.

"Never mind that. So, if you can tell their genders, what are they?" Moon asked.

Kinkajou beamed.
"Two girls and two boys. Exactly what me and Turtle wanted!"

"Yay!" Moon cheered. She fake whispered, "I can help you with the boys if you ever want. I bet Crescent will love to play with them."

Kinkajou winked and stage whispered back, "I would love some help with them."

"Help with what?" Turtle asked, coming up behind the two dragonesses. He sat beside Kinkajou and took her talon in his own.

"Your little boys," Moon teased. "Because I know how to handle them, if I do say so myself."

"How's Crescent?" Turtle asked.

"He's doing great, thanks for asking. He loves the Kingdom of the Sand almost as much as Qibli does." Moon said the last part louder, as Qibli came up. He entwined his tail with his girlfriend's.

"Crescent? Oh yeah, he definitely does." Qibli chuckled. "He thinks the sand is some type of toy made just for him. It's hilarious."

Turtle and Kinkajou laughed.

"I hope our dragonets are as sweet and funny as Crescent." Turtle said shyly.

Moon blushed. "Awww, thanks guys. I hope your dragonets are funny/excited as Kinkajou and sweet and as shy as Turtle. You two will be great parents."

Kinkajou hugged her friend as yellow surged through her scales.
