قلب ونصف Heart and half

متوتره.

الساعه ٣:٣٠
كنا قد نتناول الغداء ، لم يكن ماكس كعادته، لم ينظر إليّ أبداً، أمسكت بيديه بكل لطف :
- ماكس... هل أنت بخير ؟
- أنا بخير، ماذا عنكِ ؟
ساد الصمت قليلاً ثم وقفت مسرعه لكي أغسل الصحون, جاءت رسالة على هاتفي وأنا أمام المغسله، أمسكت بهاتفي وفتحته ورأيت رسالة جون، سوف نلتقي عند الساعه ٧ في ذلك المقهى المعتاد, نظرت إلى ماكس وانا متردده في الحديث :
- ماكس، المنزل ينقصه بعض من الحاجيات... هل يمكنني الذهاب لجلبها ؟
- وما هي الحاجيات .
- الـ.. الكثير ، يمكنني كتابتها في ورقه الآن ، سوف أجلبها .
نظر إلي بكل غضب :
- حسناً، إذهبي ، ولكن دون تأخر, أريدك هنا عند الساعه ١٠، سوف نقوم بتنظيف الحضيره.
احتضنته مسرعه ثم ركضت إلى الاعلى ، وقفت في منتصف الطريق :
- ماكس ، هل تريد شيئاً من الخارج؟
- أريدك هنا عند الساعه ١٠
- حسناً حسناً.
ركضت مسرعه لتبديل ثيابي ، ثم خرجت أسير بكل برود إلى أن تأتي الساعه ٨ ، لم أكن أعلم بأن ماكس كان خلفي ، يراقبني ، بل كان يعلم بأنني سوف أذهب لرؤية جون .
" سرعان ما أصبحت الساعه ٨ ، ذهبت إلى ذلك المقهى ، وجلست على تلك الطاوله المعتاده ، وأتى جون ، عانقته بشده ، وقمت بتقبيله على خديه ، وجلسنا على الطاوله وانا امسك بيديه بشده .
" كان ماكس يحترق من الداخل ، لم يكن يعلم بأن هذا الشخص الذي أتى الى المنزل يدعي بأنه صديق ستيفاني ، إنه عشيقها .
عاد ماكس إلى المنزل ، وذهبت ستيفاني لشراء بعض الاغراض لكي لا يشك في ذلك ، دخلت إلى المنزل وهي تنادي ماكس بأعلى صوتها ، كان يقف أمامها بكل برود ، قامت بتقبيله ولم يتكلم بأي حرف :
- ماذا بك ؟ ماكس ؟
- أين كنتِ ؟
- لقد ذهبت لشراء بعض الاغراض الضروريه ، لقد أشتريت لك هذا الفُشار الذي تحبه . سوف نشاهد التلفاز سوياً ،
أسقط الفشار من يد ستيفاني وبكل قوه :
- هل ذهبنا في يوم إلى موعد بالخارج؟ لشرب القهوه أو تناول العشاء أو ماشابه ذلك ،
- لا ، ولكننا سوف نخرج قريباً ، لقد كنت مخططه على فعل ذلك .
- هل تقصدين بأنك كنت مخططه على الذهاب برفقة جون لشرب القهوه ؟
- لا ... من .. من قال لك ذ.. لك ؟ لقد ذهبت لشراء ...
- لم يكن هناك أي مبرر لذلك ، لقد كنت خلفك و رأيتك عندما ذهبت إلى ذلك المقهى ، عندما قبلته ، واحتضنتيه بشده ، هل ذلك يحتاج إلى إلتقاط صوره ؟
- جون مجرد صديق لي ، لقد ذهبت لرؤيته فقط
- إذا كان صديق ، لماذا لم تقول بأنك سوف تخرجين برفقة جون صديقك كما قلتِ عندما أتى الى المنزل لزيارتنا . لمَ هذه الأكاذيب ستيفاني ، لقد أحببتك كثيراً .
صرخت بأعلى صوتي :
- لأن هذا المكان لم يكن مكاني أبداً ، لم أحبه قط ، لم أتقبل أن أجلس في مكان رائحته رائحة الدجاج ، والبقر ، ودائما تقوم بالاهتمام بالحضيره.
- ولكنني دائم الاهتمام بك ، لم أقصر بذلك يوماً
- لقد تعبت كثيراً ، لقد أحببتك ولكنني لم احب المكان الذي أعيش به .
- هل تحبين جون ؟ أكثر مني ؟
- لا ، لم يكن كذلك يوماً .
- حسناً يمكنك إرسال رسالة نصيه ، بأنك لا تحبينه ابداً ، صداقة فقط.
لم أكن اعلم ماذا افعل حينها ، فقد وقفت أمامه دون أي حركه ، لقد تجمدت أعضاءي وأسرعت بقول :
- ولكن من الممكن ان يكون نائماً في هذا الوقت المتأخر ، ما رأيك غداً.
- ما رأيكِ ان تكتبِ له تلك الرسالة اللعينه ليقرأها غداً إن كان نائماً في هذا الوقت.
- حسنا ، ولكن أمهلني بعضاً من الوقت ،
- أعطني الهاتف.
سحب الهاتف من يديّ بكل قوه ، وأخذ يكتب الرساله إلى أن انتهى ثم وضع الهاتف على الطاوله وصعد لكي ينام. بل لم ينَم ، أخذ يتقلب يميناً ويساراً ولم يشعر بالراحه عندما سمع كل ذلك من ستيفاني الذي أحبّها من النظرةِ الاولى ، لماذا لم يعجبها كل ذلك ولم تقل لي ، لقد رضيَت بكل برود ولم تتحدث عن عدم شعورها بالراحه لبقاءها في هذا المنزل وبالمزرعه وبكل هذا .
" إستلقت إلى جانبي وهي تنظر إليّ دون أن تغمض عينيها ولو لثانيه ، إلتفتت إلى الناحية الاخرى لأعطيها ظهري ، ولكنها أخذت تمسح على شعري قائله :
- أنت تعلم بأنني أحبك ، لولا ذلك لمَ قبلت أن اكون زوجةً لك.
- حسناً !!
- حسناً إنني احبك ، ولكنك لن تصدق هذا كله.
- الان ، لا أصدقه أبداً .. لقد كذبتِ.
- ولكن بماذا كذبت ؟
- لقد كذبت لذهابك إلى السوبر ماركت لشراء الحاجيات ، ذهبتِ لرؤيته ، غير ذلك كذبتِ بأنك راضية عن العيش هنا بجانبي ، وبجانب المزرعه .
إبتعدت ستيفاني دون أن تتفوه بكلمه ، وإستلقت على الناحية الاخرى إلى أن ذهبت في نومٍ عميق .. أمّا ماكس فلم ينم أبداً .. كان ينظر إليها تارة وهي نائمه وتارة ينظر إلى مكان آخر .. إلى أن غرق في نوم عميق عند بداية الساعه ٧ صباحاً

At 3:30
We had lunch, Max was not as usual, he never looked at me, I gently held his hands:
- Max ... Are you okay?
- I am fine what about you ?
There was a little silence and then I stood up to wash the dishes, A message came on my phone while I was in front of the laundry. I grabbed my phone and opened it and saw John's message;

We'll meet at 7 o'clock in that usual cafe... I looked at Max and I'm hesitant to talk:
- Max, the house lacks some of the things, Can I go to shopping?
- And what are the things?
- The... a lot, I can write it in paper now, I'll bring it.
He looked at me with anger:
- Okay, go but without delay, I want you here at 10 o'clock.
Embraced by speeding and then ran to the top, stood halfway:
- Max, do you want something from outside?
- I want you here at 10 o'clock
- Well Well.

I ran speedily to change my clothes, and then I walked coldly until 8 o'clock, I didn't know that Max was behind me, watching me, but he knew I was going to see John.
Soon the time became 8 o'clock, I went to that cafe, sat at that usual table, John came, hugged him, kissed him on his cheeks, and we sat at the table holding his hands hard.
"Max was burning inside, he didn't know that this guy who came home pretends to be Stephanie's friend, he's her lover.
Max returned home, and Stephanie went to buy some things in order not to doubt it, entered the house calling Max loudly, he was standing in front of her coldly, kissed him and did not speak any letter:

- What is the matter with you ? Max?
- where have you been ?
- I went to buy some necessary items, I bought you this popcorn that you love. We'll watch TV together,
Popcorn was dropped from Stephanie's hand and with all force:
- Did we go on a day to date abroad? To drink coffee or have dinner or something like that?
- No, but we will get out soon, I was planning to do so.
- Do you mean that you were planning on going with John to drink coffee?
- No... Who... Who told you y... you? I've gone to buy...
- There was no justification for that, I was behind you and I saw you when you went to that cafe, when you kissed him and hugged him so hard, Does that need to take pictures?
- John is just a friend of mine, I've just gone to see him
- If he was a friend, why didn't you say that you would go out with your friend John as you said when he came home to visit us. Why these lies Stephanie, I loved you so much.

I shouted at the top of my voice:

He pulled the phone out of my hands with all force, and started writing the letter until he finished, then put the phone on the table and went up to sleep But he did not sleep, he flipped right and left and did not feel comfortable when he heard all this from Stephanie, who loved her at first sight, why did not like all this and did not tell me, she was satisfied with all cold and did not talk about not feeling comfortable to stay in this house and farm and all this! "She lay next to me looking at me without closing her eyes, even for a second, turned to the other side to give her my back, but she began to wipe on my hair saying:
- You know I love you, otherwise I wouldn't have accepted to be your wife.
- Okay!!
- Well, I love you, but you won't believe it all.
- Now, I don't believe him at all... You lied.
- But what did you lie?
- You lied to go to the supermarket to buy things, you went to see him, other lied that you are satisfied with living here by my side, and next to the farm.
Stephanie walked away without saying a word, and lay on the other hand until she went to a deep sleep, Max never slept... He was seen at times asleep and at times looking elsewhere, Until he drowned in a deep sleep at the beginning of 7 am.
