The next morning, Mithrah woke up unusually early. For some reason sleep kept escaping her and she felt far too awake to try and fall back into the caresses of a deep slumber. With a sigh she got off her bed and finished her morning rituals before making her way to the wardrobe. Her fingers traced over the usual jeans and tops she wore regardless of being back home in the village. But she remembered she would be taking Prabhas into the village. So instead she picked out a deep blue half saree and quickly got changed.

With slow, cautious steps she made her way over to the window that showed where Prabhas and Rana worked out. But as Mithrah peered out, trying to appear as nonchalant as possible, she realised neither of them was there. She frowned and leaned closer, confused as to why he wasn't there.

"Are you looking for me?" Prabhas asked causing Mithrah to quietly gasp and twirl around to face him. His hair was in wet curls, there was an amused smile on his face and a tight white shirt clinging to his well-built body.

Mithrah scoffed. "Why would I be looking for you?"

He shrugged, stepping closer towards her, slowly trapping her between his warm body and the window. "It seemed like you were looking for me."

"Well, I wasn't." She replied hastily, eyeing the closing distance between the two. She replied far too quickly to have convinced him. "Do you want anything?"

There was a smirk playing on his lips. "I want a lot of things."

She narrowed her eyes. "This is a village. You can't get everything you want here."

"I'm sure I can get this." He said, his voice low and smooth causing her eyes to drop to his lips. She was becoming painfully aware of the heat radiating off his skin. It didn't help that Prabhas chose that moment to take in Mithrah's appearance and the half saree which stayed draped to her body. She felt the intensity of his gaze through her clothes, warming her cheeks.

But before she could retaliate and push him off, he made a face. "Where did you get this? It doesn't look nice at all." He said shaking his head, grabbing the end of her pallu and waving it in her face.

Whatever she was feeling before suddenly came to a halt as a glare settled on her face. "What?" She refused to believe that her saree didn't look nice, especially when she tried to make sure it was.

He shrugged, still with that expression which angered Mithrah by the seconds, his eyes still having not left her body. "I don't know. Something about it."

Feeling her patience hit its peak, she pulled the end of her pallu out of his hands and pushed him away. "Something about your eyes you mean." She snapped causing him to laugh as she hurried down the stairs with him following her steps.

Nithya was eating her breakfast when she caught sight of her cousin. She gave Mithrah a once over with a smirk. "Damn you look good."

As soon as Mithrah heard the compliment she looked back at Prabhas who immediately looked away whistling a random tune as if he wasn't watching her the whole time.

"Why are you dressing up today huh?" Nithya asked, lowering her voice as Mithrah neared her. Her voice sounded teasing as she nodded her head in the direction of Prabhas with a wiggle of her eyebrows.

Mithrah scoffed and tucked into her breakfast. "Please. I dressed up because I have to show him around the village."

"And you've dressed up to impress the cows and goats?" Nithya sassed, watching the way Prabhas looked at her cousin and then looked away. Rana had also joined him and was talking but Prabhas' attention was evidently elsewhere.
