Once they arrived back at the villa, Prabhas handed the jewellery bag to Mithrah by her room door. It was Mithrah's smart idea for him to follow her straight there so that way Rana nor Thara would catch sight of the gifts he bought. "Keep it in your room." He told her with a sheepish smile. "I might lose it or something." Just as she went to take it out of his hand, he neared her ear and whispered, "Take good care of it."

She narrowed her eyes but he gave her a grin and walked away. Nithya hurried towards her the moment Prabhas left. She had a mischievous smile on her face as Mithrah watched her warily knowing her younger cousin could never be up to any good.

"How was today?" Nithya asked, cocking her brows in a teasing manner.

Mithrah shrugged as she tried to walk back into her room. "It was alright. Nothing happened." She knew whatever she was to say to Nithya would be held against her. There was no way she was giving Nithya a chance to tease her.

"Your face says anything but nothing had happened, bro." Nithya said with a smirk, watching the way Mithrah tried not to look in the direction Prabhas had walked off. She refused to believe that her cousin and he were alone for that long without anything happening.

But Mithrah was stubborn. She just scoffed and walked inside with a shake of her head. "I'm telling you nothing happened." She repeated as Nithya followed her. "I just helped him buy gifts." She said lifting the bag in her hand.

"Did you buy them gifts too?" Nithya asked, before hurrying to the large bed and falling onto it with a satisfied sigh.

Mithrah laughed at her goofy smile before shaking her head. "I couldn't find something to buy at first but then Prabhas gave me the idea of painting something for them." She said as a smile bloomed on her face without her even realising.

Nithya rolled on the bed to lie on her front before resting her head in her hand, watching her cousin with a curious expression. She knew Mithrah continuously chose to deny everything that she or Thara teased her about, but within herself, Nithya was convinced there was something sparking between the two. How could there not when she can so clearly see the change in Mithrah?

"Mithrah, tell me honestly, is there nothing going on between you and Prabhas?" Nithya asked, her voice much more serious than before. Maybe it was the abrupt change of her tone but Mithrah turned to look at Nithya with an expression she never saw before.

"Fine." Mithrah mumbled after a moment of conflict. "I like him." She stated, trying to appear nonchalant about it as if it wasn't something that bothered her.

Nithya shot her a flat look. "And the sky is blue."

"What?" Mithrah appeared confused as she went and sat down on the bed. She placed the jewellery bag carefully beside Nithya before giving the smirking girl her undivided attention. "What are you talking about?"

"I already know you like him. It's as obvious as the colour of the sky." Nithya said with a grin as Mithrah groaned in embarrassment. "I want to know what's happening."

"Nothing is happening," Mithrah mumbled.

Nithya raised her eyebrows, clearly being able to see that something is bothering her. She could tell by the way Mithrah's features settled into a glare, one that wasn't caused by her. "What's wrong?" She asked, giving her a look of affection.
