mini chapter 02

Since the trainees have been working hard, their company is letting them have a couple days of break.

Haneul, Jaemin, Henry, Miyakawa, Jinhai, Minah, Sunhee, Eunbyul, Liuxing, Hanna, Hannah, Jenny, and Jiyeon were all hanging out in one of the practice rooms, the other trainees off on their own doing other stuff.

"I can dance to anything," Jinhai says proudly.

"Oh really?" Sunhee says. "Let's have a dance contest than,"

"Alright, girls against boys?" Jaemin asks.

Everyone nods and Sunhee speaks up again.

"But," She says, gaining all of their attention again. "The boys have to do a girl group dance and the girls have to do a boy group,"

"What!" Miyakawa protests. "Why do we have to do a girl group dance?"

"Alright," Jinhai says, "But we get to pick your song,"

"And we get to pick yours," Sunhee answers.

The girls and the boys split up, discussing what song they should make the others dance to.

The boys walk over to one corner of the room and sit down to discuss.

"Let's give them a hard one," Henry says.

"What if they give us something easy though," Haneul says. "I don't want it to be unfair,"

"But what if they make us do a sexy dance!" Miyakawa says, imagining them trying to dance to AOA's Miniskirt in his head. He shudders just thinking about it. "I don't want to do that,"

"Hmm..." Jaemin says. "What about something from EXO, or NCT?"

"Growl? Firetruck?" Haneul asks.

"Nah, Growl is too easy," Henry responds.

"What about Cherry Bomb?" Jinhai asks.

"Yes!" Miyakawa says. "I love that dance, lets make them do it,"

"Alright, does everyone agree?" Jinhai asks the small group.

They all nod.

In the other corner of the room, the girls are still deciding what song they should make the boys do.

"Should we make them do something cute, sexy or hip-hoppy?" Jenny asks.

"Most boy group dances are already hip-hoppy so if we did that it would be too easy for them," Jiyeon says.

"True," Hannah agrees. "Why not something sexy?"

Hanna and Minah exchange looks of disgust.

"Hanna and I's brothers will be dancing to it that'll be gross," Minah says, fake gagging. The other girls laugh and they continue talking.

"So a cute concept then?" Sunhee asks.

"What about a song from Twice?" Liuxing suggests.

"Or Red Velvet?" Eunbyul pitches in.

"Twice dances are too easy, we need something harder," Sunhee says.

"So red velvet?" Jiyeon says and the girls nod, agreeing on the group.

"But what song?" Jenny asks. "Red Flavor, Rookie, Russian Roulette?"

"I saw Jinhai and Jaemin dancing to Red Flavor last week," Minah says. "So not that since they already know the dance to it,"

"How about Rookie?" Eunbyul asks. "It's cute and hard at the same time,"

"Yeah, that sounds good," Hanna agrees.
