Background: Akihiko was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan. Born to a Korean mother and Japanese father. Akihiko never knew how to speak proper Korean up until he was 4 years old when his parents decided to start teaching him. Aki wasn't interested in being a kpop artist when he was younger, he always had a passion for animating and drawing. Later, he found out that his mom loved kpop and started listening along with her. He enjoyed it too! Years later, he decided to audition for JYP entertainment at the age of 12. He only lasted for about 3 years, but sadly he decided to leave due to his mother's death.
