The Nerd with the Dangerous Secret

Pain surgeries through my entire body making it feel as if it was on fire, a groan tumbles from my lips as my head falls backwards and my eyes snap open as if they were on an elastic band. For a moment I thought I was in my room that was until I realised I wasn't and I was in fact tied down to a chair

I try to move my hands but then I realise that I can't because they are tied together quite tightly behind my back, only then do I take notice of the sticky wet stuff that I can feel dribbling down my wrists from my palms

Luckily it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would and I have a feeling that is because I am used to being hurt and bleeding because of my after school activity but still I have to nibble on my lip to try and stop me from screaming out in pain I look downwards towards my lap and I realise just how dirty my clothes are luckily the upside to my nerd facade is that I don't have to wear new expensive clothes everyday like most at my school tend to do

"Ahh your awake, I'm glad because I was starting to get impatient and you wouldn't like to see me angry" A very familiar voice says making me snap my head up and glare at him, he would go to extremes measure just to make sure I do tell him about my secret. . .Ha fat chance boy you know I am a street fighter right I can kick your ass I mean I've done it before and I am not afraid to do it again

"I'm not one to be very observant but I'm pretty sure I have already pissed you off no?" I ask him rhetorically and smirk as I watch him grow more angry with me surely his learnt by now that there is no way I am giving into him and that I am just toying with him

"Yes you have and I'm going to make sure you pay baby bird and when I find out your secret because believe me I will whether it is or without your help it will be ten times worse if you continue to piss me off" he says returning my smirk with his own much more evil one and for a minute fear makes me forget all about my pain but I manage to keep a bored expression on my face

"Oh will you now and how you going find out my so called secret by continuing to stalk me?" I snarl

"If that is what it takes then yes I will continue to stalk you. . .After all you said there is no secret bar the fighting so you shouldn't be worried amigo" He states simply as if it is the most obvious thing in the world and it makes me feel absolutely fucking sick, he was okay with spying on me and stripping back my privacy as if it was his new hobby that he was addicted to and it made me want to actually throw up because it wasn't just my privacy it was mine, Mason's, Gracelyn's and mom's and I wanted to keep them all safe after all it wasn't their fight and yet I couldn't

"You are a bastard" I sneer at him spitting on the floor

"The thing is baby bird I don't care what you think of me, I never had cared what you think of me and I never will all I want to do is find out your little secret and ruin your life why wont you at least let me do that!" He screamed in my face making my stomach twist and tie itself into knots all he has ever wanted is to find out my secret not even once has he tried to help me all for what?

"Why? Why do this to me?" I ask him letting all the sadness and anger inside of me control my voice

Jordon barked a laugh looking truly wicked "You don't get it, you never will get it people like you were just handed stuff on a silver platter and you never really have to work for anything except maybe for your pride and you never ever seem to realise that their are people around you working their asses off to get an ounce of attention and that's why I have to do this" He pauses for a minute letting his voice lower to a whisper before he continues "and that's why I have to find out what you are hiding after all it is the only way to stop a 'nerd' like yourself"

 "Is that what you think I am?" I ask him letting out a half laugh and a half sob out how ridiculous this whole thing was, he really saw me as someone who has never had to work for anything in her life? "Look I don't know how you make up things like up but I was never, never handed my life on a silver platter I had to work for everything I wanted then and I have to now the only difference is that now I have to fight longer and harder for the things I want for the things I need" I tell him

Silently Fray observed me for a moment unblinking until finally it seemed he made up his mind and fiddled around his pocket pulling out a small butterfly knife and walking behind me before he started to cut away at the rope until it fell to the ground realising itself from my bloodied wrists 

"You know I had a friend like you once, strong beautiful feisty and stubborn but strong headed as well she like you claim had trails in her life and eventually that ended her life her past came back to haunt her a little too well her name was Jaden" He tells me and my heart pulls for the boy as I glance at the pained expression he was giving me "You are free to go, no more stalking I promise"

I didn't know whether to believe him or not but still I got out of the classroom as if it was on fire
