Second Chances

Chapter 1

                                                                         ~BLOODSHED AND NEW LIFE~

*Sakura P.O.V*

I was fighting a hard battle with only me, Naruto, Sasuke, and Shikamaru. The rest of rookie 9 were all dead. Hinata died protecting Naruto by a hit by a Jutsu. 

Kiba was killed when a rock crushed him, while he was helping others. Ino died when a sword pierced through her heart trying to at least protect Sai.

Choji died of chakra exhaustion while he was saving others from getting attacked. Tenten died of blood loss when she saved Lee by taking a Jutsu. Later on, Lee was being too reckless and was also killed by a Jutsu.

I heard a scream of agony and I rushed over to find Shikamaru with a kunai impaled in his chest. I started trying to heal him but I knew he wasn't gonna make it. 

I hear more screams of agony and turn my head over to find Sasuke and Naruto impaled with kunais but this time in the heart. I started to sob I ran over to them and killed them with my cherry blossom impact. 

Naruto looked like he wanted to say something but I put a figure over his mouth, "Shh don't worry anymore, I will make sure to avenge you guys" I had silently said while he closed his eyes for the last time. 

I looked over at Sasuke, who looked like he was using the last of his strength to stay awake for the last few seconds, "I'm sorry Sakura..." I waited a bit more hoping he would insult me or something but he never did. "sasuke" I paused shaking him, "SASUKE" I screamed.

I was dumb to think he would magically get back alive and we would win this war, I sobbed over the loss of my best friends, teammates, and family. 

I stopped when Shikamaru spoke to me saying "It's not your fault Sakura I know they died but they wouldn't want you to die now let me see the clouds one more time." Shikuramu's last words were " What a drag."

Then he died. I started fighting when I was impaled. I started feeling dizzy, I took a last look around and saw how bad we were losing. My last words were "I wish I had a second chance to fix all of this" and blacked out.

*Unknown P.O.V*

"Hmmm" I put my hand to my chin thinking, "This wasn't how it was supposed to end! I need to fix this and fast" I quickly thought of people who would certainly change this future for the better, and finally decided on one girl.

"She's perfect, now as long as she does everything correctly the future will change," I said, a doubt of worry clouded me "unless" I didn't bother even thinking about it.   

I spoke the Jutsu and did the hand signs. A flash of blue surrounded her, "Use this wisely and don't make me regret this" I mumbled under my breath as her last breath was taken.

*Sakura P.O.V*

When I blacked out I thought that I would go to heaven and be able to see all my friends. But I was meet with this mysterious person.

They spoke with a calming voice and said "Sakura Haruno, you have been chosen to save this future, this future was never supposed to happen but something has changed. I need you to go back and make sure this never happens and you will also be able  to live again without regrets."

This person paused and soon continued, "This is your only chance, even I have no idea what changed this future but you have to change it back no matter the cost."

I thought that if it would mean preventing all this war and bloodshed I would go back to try and prevent it so I nodded determine, "Good, I will let you keep your memories but you must earn back your strength to prove yourself" 

Blue light surrounded me and they said one last thing "You must be cautious Sakura, and make sure to change this future for the better" They emphasized 'for the better', meaning I could make this future worse than before, I thought before once again losing conscious. 

I woke up my head pounding. I held my head and I looked around cautiously. Where was I? I walked around a bit and noticed that I was in an alleyway, I walked out of the alleyway.

I hoped I remembered where it was, I thought walking a bit to see if I even knew my way home. I was lost for some time until I finally found where I lived.

"I'm home Otousan and Okaasan," I yelled a bit unsure if I got the wrong house again, I facepalmed. "Ohh honey where have you been we were worried sick." said my mom, I sighed in relief right house.

 "Oh just let her be she is growing up Mebuki she has to be a little free" stated my dad " Ohh okay just make sure you are always home before 5 okay or no more being out after 5 okay"

"Yay thank you okaasan you won't regret it," I said nodding. 

"Well, you should go to bed," said my mom. "Okay, Okaasan, goodnight Otousan and Okaasan"

I walked to my room and looked at my clothes and looked at all the pink in my closet. I let out a groan and changed into pajamas that were light pink sleeping gown. 

I need to change this future for the better and my first step would be befriending Naruto, my mom and dad didn't really care about Naruto so I should be fine I thought lazily, falling fast sleeping.

SO I am going to edit all of these chapters since my writing had many grammar and spelling mistakes. Look forward to the 'The Flower in the Storm', its the second book coming out on Friday! Anyways...
