Chapter 9

Hey guys sorry if I'm taking so long to update. I'm trying to make my chapters long so I hope I don't disappoint you. Ok on with the story

*Sakura P.O.V*

I was at the inn while my parents were doing some business. I decided to get out and play at the park. I was thinking of graduation the mission to wave the chunin exams and other things.

When i looked up i was already at the park. I saw garra getting bullied and it looked like he was about to use his sand attack. I ran up to them and said “leave him alone” they all looked at me shocked that someone was defending him even garra looked shocked at this.

Instead they just kept moving in and eventually cornered us “what makes you think that we’re scared of you little girl” the bully said and his group of friends nodded. Instead i did a roundhouse kick and it knocked them all down.

They all looked scared and ran off. I just chuckled a bit. I then turned around a bit and smiled at him.”hello my name is sakura haruno. What's your name?” i said .he looked momentarily shocked but then just went back to his stoic face “my name is Gaara” (forgot his last name sorry ).

The next question caught him off guard “want to play with me gaara-kun.” he looked at me as if to make sure i wasn’t lying. “Don't you think i'm a demon like the other people.” he said. I just sighed and said “if i thought that you were a demon gaara-kun i would have ran a long time ago”i giggled a bit.

He just looked embarrassed a bit and said “ok”.we played lots of things like tag and hide&seek.we had a lot of fun and when the sun set we had to go on our own a way. But we promised each other to play again tomorrow. I walked back to the inn we were staying at,

My parents hugged me tight and both had worried looks on their face.” I just said sorry and went to go to sleep .

*next day*

Sakura P.O.V*

I woke up. I got dressed in my attire and ran downstairs to be greeted by my mom and dad. "Hey honey how did you sleep." my mom asked while ordering food for us to eat.(A/N they are still at the hotel if you forget).

"I slept well mom" I answered while walking to the table. "Well today me and your dad are going to do something ok honey so I want you to be careful " she said while putting the food on the table and sat down. " yes mom I'm a ninja now so it's ok" i answer "plus I'm just going to meet a friend at the park".

"ok honey well me and your dad have to get going we will back before dark ok" my mom said. I just nodded and waved bye to them. Once they left I stuffed a pancake in my mouth and put all the food away.

Once I was done I ran out the house and locked the door before skipping all the way to the park where I waiting for Gaara-kun.

*Gaara P.O.V*

I woke up and got dressed. I ate and walked to the park thinking about my first friend. I was happy for a moment and smiled a little. I was happy I had a friend .

Even though almost everyone thought that was a monster she stood up for me. I couldn't wait to see sakura-chan and play with her. Once I got to the park she was there waiting and I ran up to her and said "hey sakura-chan" and smiled a bit.

She looked at me shocked bit it was replaced by a wide smile.

*Sakura P.O.V*

I Was waiting until gaara-kun came up to me and said "hey sakura-chan"

and smiled I was shocked for a bit but replace it with my biggest smile i had. We played for a long time and at some point temari and kankuro came. We all played and once we finished playing together I knew they weren't scared of him anymore. When it was sunset I just said

"Gaara-kun I'm leaving back to konhan in a three days so I don't want you to be sad when I leave. Ok gaara." He just smiled and replied "then let's make the most of these three days we have together and I smiled and nodded.

I shortly left because if I didn't my mom and dad would be worried again so I said " sorry gaara-kun but I have to go" and waved at him as I was leaving.

*Gaara P.O.V*
Once she left i dropped my smile I was sad that she was leaving and going back home but I knew that she also missed her friends. She told me about them. She told me about how a boy name naruto was also called monster and treated badly like me.

She told me about them all and I was a bit jealous of some boys she told me were her friends. I think one of their name was suke or was sake I don't remember.

But I felt jealous that she some friends that were boys and that I wasn't her first friend that was a boy. She spoke so highly of them I felt sad. What if she forgets me when she goes back home.

But I pushed those thoughts away and thought of what we could do for these three days. I also was thinking about what to get her when she leaves maybe a necklace or bracelet. I was already home. When I open the door i saw my siblings. They looked guilty.

When I was about to go to my room they stopped me. Temari said " I'm sorry for not treating you like a brother.

Sakura made me see that you aren't a monster or mean or any thing they said about you" she looked like she was going to cry until I hugged her and said "its okay temari-nee its okay."

And I knew that I would have to thank sakura when I saw her. She brought my family together again. I also knew I liked her.
