*************************************************************************************                         *SAKURA P.O.V*

I woke up at 4 and I thought back to all of Tsunade-sensei's rough training, I had a habit of waking up at 4 now. 

Might as well stay up, I decided that I would wear what I had in my closet for know at least and I mentally made a note to order some gloves from the land of metal.

I also needed more clothes because these were too bright for my eyes, I sweatdropped at all of the pink dresses I used to wear.

Was I this hung up on dresses I thought, I quickly got dressed and ran downstairs to leave a quick note to my parents. Let's go to the training grounds, I thought pumped up!

 I started running and bumped into someone "Sorry" I said to the person who I bumped into. I looked up, it was Lee, I wanted to cry, but I held it in and smiled softly. He held out his hand and I gladly took it. 

He said, " Are you headed to the training grounds?" Lee said. I nodded, "Want me to accompany you to the training grounds?" asked Lee. I spoke "If you don't mind," 

Lee agreed and we started walking and talking, he left me at the training grounds saying he had to go train with his teacher too and so I left him to go.

I smiled and went to the middle of the training grounds and sat down in a meditating position. The first thing I needed to do was see how big my chakra capacity was.

I tried to expand it but was exhausted fast, dam (<-Who knows where this is from!) was I that weak. I sighed and promised that I would get stronger.

*Time-Skip*

It was still a bit early but since I left really early I needed to get back so they didn't think I changed too much. It was 1 pm but since I left at like 4 am I needed to get back home to get lunch, I was starving and so I ran as fast as I could to at least make it to lunch.

*3rd Person's P.O.V*

Everyone parted to see the bubble gum haired girl running to go to her house while looking like a mess. Lots of people pointed out her pink blossom hair, who could forget the child of Mebuki and Kizashi Haruno. As the villagers all saw her they greeted her with small 'hellos' and friendly smiles.

*Naruto P.O.V*

I was walking away from Ichiraku ramen shop I saw Sakura. I knew it was her because of her bubblegum hair. I just passed her and she sent me a smile I was shocked at the gesture I just blushed a bit and waved at her to and she smiled. 

When she was out of sight I ran to my apartment and started to think of the scene over and over again. I wonder if I was dreaming or not. I can't wait to go to the ninja academy.

 Will Sakura-chan be in my class or not. I start to jump up and down. I will just have to wait and see orrrrrrr I can just find out right now if she is in my class or not by sneaking into the old man's office to see. I'll go with the second one I thought grinning and left.

*SAKURA'S P.O.V*
I ran into Naruto and smiled at him and I could see the shocked expression on his face but he just smiled back. I looked at Naruto who looked pretty shocked and happier. 

I just smiled and kept running to my house. I can't wait to be in the same class as rookie 12, I thought excitedly. When I got home I took a quick shower and went straight to the kitchen to see mom finishing food.

"Where did you go Sakura, you almost gave me a heart attack when I noticed that you weren't in bed. Next time you tell us instead of leaving a not okay," she said with a spoon ready if I didn't understand.

I nodded a bit scared and ate lunch, I rested in my bed a bit and mediated a bit more too, that's when it became 3. I told my mom and dad that I was going to the park a bit and brought my dad's shogi board in case I saw Shikamaru.

 I walked to the park and found the perfect spot to see the clouds. This was a spot Shikamaru told me about always dragging me to take a break with him here. That's when I saw him, walking looking a bit shocked to see someone here.

I had my eyes closed and he just seemed to be observing me. I decided to make a move first, "Um do you wanna play shogi with me?" I asked quietly a bit scared of being rejected of it.

He seemed to be thinking but finally gave in, "I guess," he said rather lazily, I nodded and we played for a little over an hour. "Sorry but I have to get home soon," I said feeling bad but he just sighed.

"Yeah so do I" it was quiet for a bit until he asked me something, "Do you wanna play again tomorrow" I nodded eagerly letting out a small smile. He soon left after that and I watched him leave before taking my leave too.

Today was a good day I thought happily walking home to get dinner. I suddenly stopped when I saw some kids beating Naruto. I rushed to his aid, just barely stopped a punch and said "Leave him alone he doesn't deserve this" I said loudly.

I heard some whispering like "what a freak" or "Why did she protect that monster" I just yelled "He's not a monster the only real ones are you for bulling him" I just grabbed Naruto's hand and ran.

*3rd person P.O.V*

Unknown to them a little girl hidden behind a tree with raven hair saw this and was happy that someone had tried to protect Naruto. But was a bit sad to find out it wasn't her that help.
