Misunderstandings

The car screeched to a halt in front of the set and Aditi got out with BF. As soon as she entered, she introduced him to Nalini and rushed over to change hoping that he would feel comfortable around Zain and Nalini.

Zain who was pacing around reading the script of an upcoming romantic scene, was constantly thinking of better ways to execute the scene. He was also worried about Aditi being miffed with him since the past day. She had not even replied to his messages. He decided to talk it out once she comes and brushed off his thoughts. Just then he saw BF approaching him.

Zain: Hey mahn! Long time!

He extended his hands for a warm hand shake. BF shook hands with him.

BF: Yeah! This time I had to!

Zain: Matlab?

### Aditi's dressing room ###

Someone knocked the door.

Aditi: Who is it?

Gautam: Its me! Are you done?

Aditi: Yea! Just make up! Wait. I will open the door.

Aditi opened the door to see a smiling Gautam(Ali) in front of her. He came inside her and sat on a chair nearby watching the makeup man getting her ready.

Aditi: Why are you silent?

Gautam: Aditi yaar! I messaged you yesterday. Why didn't you reply? That was urgent dude! And I was at a really noisy place, so couldn't ring up.

Aditi: Ohh Shit! My data pack expired yesterday! It was too late when I found out that. I have to recharge it yet again! Main kaise bhool gayi?

Gautam: Acha! Since tomorrow is a day off for us, we were planning for a movie night out. I just had to check with you.

Aditi: Which movie?

Gautam: Not decided! But we all will spend some time together. That would be great!

Aditi: Yep. Sounds cool.

Gautam: I thought you are angry with Zain and you are not replying because of that.

Aditi: Arrey Nahi yaar!

Gautam: Zain had also messaged you..

Aditi: That's a serous damage dude! He must have thought I ignored him. Its okay! We'll be all fine between doing scenes. Main kar loongi baath. Don worry...

Gautam (smiled): Hmm. I shall go now. Tum neeche aa jao. Shot must be ready.

Aditi: Yes. Just 5 min.

BF: Matlab? Why are you hell bent on playing around with her?

Zain: Huh? Ohh! I am so sorry yaar! It was just pure fun. Didn't know it will hurt her.

BF: Mr.Imam! Behave as a co-star. I can clearly see what you are trying to do.

Zain: Excuse me? What am I trying to do?

BF: You are flirting with her. I can understand your onscreen scenes. But not this offscreen mess up. I am warning you to stay away from her!

Zain felt anger boiling inside him. Just a word more, and he would thrash this person in front of him. He would have faced his wrath if he was not related to Aditi.

Zain: Do you even know what are you speaking about? We are just friends. Nothing more from either sides. Insecurities ki bhi hadh hothi hai dude.

BF: I am insecure?? About YOU? God knows how on earth do you have such a huge number of fans! Don't even know to behave properly with women.

Zain: THATS ENOUGH! You can ask Aditi if I have ever misbehaved with her. Yesterday's whole driving thing was just mere fun! You are exaggerating things. Iam sure, she must have forgotten the entire issue by now.

BF: She herself has told me how you bothered her yesterday. Shall I not believe my own girl too?

Zain felt like a huge thunder had stuck him. He was insulted and humiliated by a stranger for no fault of his. This could have been solved within seconds. He really felt disgusted at Aditi for pulling off such a drama for a silly thing.

Seeing this heated arguments and BF pushing Zain at his shoulders, the crew and director came running to stop any mishappenings. Zain would have smashed his head for such filthy words, but then decided against it. Nalini ran up to him to comfort him.

Nalini: Relax Zain! Please don't do anything! Just let it go.

Aditi had just arrived the scene and stood oblivious to what had happened. She could see a visibly outraged Zain in front of her which she had never seen. She just asked a spot boy about the issue there.

SP1: Wo madam.. BF saab ne Zain sir par hath uthaya...

Aditi: WHAT?

SP1: Ji. I think kal wale driving baat ko lekar..

Aditi stood dumbstruck at this turn of events.

SP1: Madam. I don't know if I should say this. But Zain sir is really a nice person. He just meant this as a joke. Unhe nahi patha tha ki aapko itna bura lagenge..

Aditi: I know. I didn't...

Before she could complete the sentence, he was called to set up the shot for an upcoming scene and he ran off saying a bye.

The argument was put an end to and BF stormed out of the place with a thoroughly shocked Aditi left behind. Zain shot daggers at Aditi and kicked off a water bottle near to him spilling water all over the floor.

Zain: Sorry.. Dada.. please clean it up!

He then turned to the director.

Zain: Sir. Can I get a break? I can't do any scene now. Sorry. But please.

Director nodded in a yes and Zain sprang off to his room and stopped near Aditi.

Zain: Ye zaroori nahi tha Aditi.. I am hurt..

Aditi: Par Zain! Listen to me...

He rushed away from her without even paying attention to what she had to say. Gautam and Nalini came over to a scared Aditi.

Gautam: Aditi. You said there is no issue at all!

Aditi: I didn't do anything guyz. Believe me! I have no idea why BF reacted like this.

Nalini: Its okay! Just calm down. Zain abhi gusse me hai. He was gravely insulted.

Aditi: I am so sorry. I dont understand this at all! Why did he do this...?
Nalini! Tu please Zain ke paas jaa. He needs a friend right now.

Gautam: Yes. She is right. We'll talk to him once he cools down.

Nalini: Yea! That would be the best thing to do I think. I will just see him and come.

And she ran over to Zain to calm him down. He was really out of his temper and had to be taken care of.

Aditi looked at Gautam who just sidehugged her and whispered..

"Its Ok. Sab teek kar denge hum log"

Aditi nodded in a yes with the same hope. But, the damage was done. This was not going to be easy...
