For the last time "I don't want a mate !!!!!"

*Taconnie's prov*

I looked up and mom and dad, I started to ball my eyes out. I felt mom and dad pull me into a tight hug. Mom was crying as well and dad had a tear come down his cheek.

" Honey you know that we love you, we will be with you in your heart for this journey of love!" While trying to calm herself mom said ,hugging dad to her. I Just nodded and turned to my brothers and sisters, they all gave me a big hug and wished me luck. The last one to hug me was Carmen , looking at her made smile.

" Trust in fate that everything will be ok" Carman said smiling at me.

" I will." I said while taking every step very slow while walking to the door. I opened it to see a group o young lion shifters  waiting to find their mate, I was the only one left to join them. I jumped off the top of the stairs on the deck and landed on the ground  in my lion form. My lions coat was almost white . like a very light sandy color. Every ones coats varied in color from a medium brown to almost white but I was the only one with green eyes; everyone else had yellow eyes . I don't know why, it's not like I'm special or anything I just a lion shifter.  

Lila (Aka my best friend) came running up to me and pounced me like always. My parents just laugh at us; her parents and my parents are best friends so we've known each other since we were little. I was glad that I didn't have to go through it alone , having her there will help a little.

" Are you ready to find us some mates!!" Lila said overly excited. I just rolled my eyes and shook my head she knows how I feel about mates. She just keeps asking hoping that I will change my mind about them as time went on.

" You know the answer to that question already!" I said with a harsh tone. She winced a little but just rolled her eyes.

" You do know  that you'll never get a mate with that look on face." commenting on the frown on my face Lila said.

" Good Then I just might keep it on my face!" I said with a giggle, Lila just gave a huff.

" Come on Taco, a mate will be good for you!" She said while nudging my shoulder . I tried to hide my smirk from hearing my childhood nickname she gave me , when  we were little.  

" You know I hate that name." I said trying to hide the smirk I had on my lips.

" But it made you smile didn't it!" she said laughing. I nodded just like old times , Lila and I went on so many adventures when we were younger but, nothing like the  one  we're going on now.

Finally it was time to go and we said our last good byes to our families. Always two elders accompany us to the meeting place of the three prides; the meeting place it always changes, last year it was at the pride in  some country in  Africa  and now it's in England. Next year my pride holds the meeting place. 

It took us about five days to travel to England in our lion form none less , we're were  very tired from all the running a trying not to get spotted by humans. We're just out side the city of London; it was very beautiful here and the weather amazing not to hot and not to cold.   

The elders are just talking with the other elders about tomorrow, when the three prides get to mingle and find there mates. I was not looking forward to this , Lila tried to comfort me but it wasn't helping.

" It will be alright Taconnie , you'll see!" Lila said reassuringly to me but it didn't give me much comfort .

" I just want to go home!!" I cried to her, She hugged me and smoothed me.

" I know." was all she said. Look at me I was crying like a big baby , who would want me has a mate anyways. 

The next day came very fast and the excitement from all the lions about find their mates was so thick you couldn't cut through it with an axe. As the day went by people from our pride where finding their mates , I just made sure that I didn't make eye contact with anyone. Lila found her mate , he was in the pride from England. I was sad that I had to leave her here but she was so happy about finding her mate, I couldn't help but feel happy for her. this was everything she wanted and he seem really nice, his name was Jordan, he is well built. I was walking around when someone grabbed  my chin, well I did the only thing I could to protect myself , I kick that person in the family jewels.

I turned a round to see who it was that grabbed me , I was meant with amazing blue eyes, it was then that I realized that it was my mate.

" Mate!" he growled out. I shocked myself by what I did next, I started to laugh my ass off.

" Why are you laughing you just kicked me in the nuts!!" my mate hissed out. I tried to stop laughing but couldn't.

" I'm sorry But you shouldn't of grabbed me with that!!" I said still laughing. He probably though I was crazy.
