I was walking; around his room , looking for an escape but I couldn't find one. Not a single window that opened.  After letting out an frustrated sigh , I ploped back down onto the bed and wonder if anyone was looking for me. Any minute now,  someone from my pride would notice that I was missing and coming looking for me. Maybe Lila will but I doubt it; she probably to busy locking lips with Jordan to even care that Blake took me. While being deep in thought I didn't notice that someone opened the door until I heard a.

"Miss?'' I looked over to see a young girl about a year or so younger then me standing at the door.

" Yes?" I asked the girl wanting to know why; she was here.

" I was told to bring you down to have supper with Pride leader Blake!" she said nervously while staring down at her feet. 

"Oh !" was all I said to her.

If he thinks that I'm going to just be ok with all of this , then he was dead wrong.

" Well you can tell your; Pride leader that he can shove supper up his ass , if he thinks that i'm going to have dinner with him!" I say with venim driping from my voice.

she looked at me with surprise and only replyed with a " Yes miss!" before hurrying out the door. 

I reliazed that she left the door unlocked but even better then that ,open. Peaking my head out the door to see if anyone was coimg down the hall. No one was in the hall, so I decide to make my move and run for the stairs. I stopped cold when ,I saw Blake starting to come up the stairs but i don't think he saw me. So I booked it back to the room and closed the door making sure to lock it. I jumped into the bed and under the covers pretending to be a sleep. I heard the door unlock and open, then I heard something I wish I haded.

" Do you think I'm stupid mate!?" Blake growled. "Shit" my cover was blowen, maybe I could still safe it.

I rolled over to see him leaning agaist the door, man he looked pissed. I tiredly rudded my eyes and replyed with a sleepy.

"umm..."

" Don't lie to me!!" Blaked yelled at me . Yup he was defiantly pissed.

" I knew  you weren't sleeping!" He said while walking closer.

"Looking If you want me to play the bad guy and act overly possessive of you!" he said while he  continued walking closer to me " When have it your way!" He closed in. I looked at him shocked, what did he mean by this?

" What do you mean?" I cringed alittle bit backwards when he was in front of me.  Blake bent down to my level and just gave me a smirk. This can't be good, what ever he has planned.

" I mean honey that you'll not leave my side until I can trust you!''' he gave a chuckle before pulling back.

" Just listen Ok!" I said jumping up from the bed and standing up to him. He must of been 6'5 a lot taller then my 5'3 frame.

" Look I don't need a mate, I can look after myself!" I said pointing a finger a his chest. His perfectly sculptured chest.

"Well I'm sorry you feel like this but you have no choice in the matter" He said in a cool voice, I gave me chills but detected a hint of saddness.

Blake cooled down after a few mintues and started to pace around the room. I was getting dizzy just from watching him.

" Will you just sit down your making me dizzy." I said stareing at him.  He sat down in the chair a cross from looking at me like he was stareing into my soul.

" it's getting late we should head to bed" Blake said while grabbing extra  pillows .

"I'm not sharing a bed with you" I quickly protested.

" I thought you would protest, because I'm such a gentlmen I will take the couch and you can have the bed." He said while making the couch, I just rolled my eyes.

***** The next Morning****

Taconnie... Taconnie ...Taconnie!!!!! I quickly jumped up from being startled.

"what!" I yelled in surprise, I looked over to where the laughing was coming from to see it was Lila . I looked over to the couch and seen that blake wasn't there.

"You! should seen your face hahha!" Lila kept laughing at me.

" Why I did you wake me up?" I asked her.

" Because I was bored and I promised blake that I wouldn't help you escape!" she said while looking around the room. Lila notice that the couch was made into a bed.

" You made the poor man sleep on the couch!" She said excited while palming her face.

"Well I wasn't going to share a bed him!" I yelled at her , she gave me a disappointed look.

" Why the hell not I mean he's your mate after all!" Lila yelled back at me. Not her too , she was the only one who understood why I didn't want a mate. 

" You of all people should understand why I don't want any of this." I said all most on the brink of tears.

" what are you afraid of , mates are your other half " Lila said while giving a great big hug.

" That one day he'll wake up and see that he's made a mistake, and he won't want me anymore!" I cried hard into her shoulder.

" sweety mates aren't like that , mates are life partners!" Lila tried to resure while rubbing circles into my back.

" How can you be sure?" I asked her as when wiping my tears

"You never can be 100% sure , but you just have to, have faith in life" Lila said smiling a bit.

Sometimes I forget just how smart Lila is ; She is my bestfriend, my confident, I can tell her anything. Maybe she was right , maybe I should give this whole mate thing a chance. There is still a big part of me that doesn't want a mate. My lioness is craving her mate though and I don't know how much longer that , I can hold her back.

" Your right , I guess , I just have to take a chance" I said while hugging Lila back.

" Come on I think your mate is wanting at breakfast, Let's not keep him waiting!" Cheerful Lila said heading out the door.

I stayed behind for a few moments perpairing myself about having to face my mate. I was scared shitless. Lila must of noticed that I didn't follow her because she came back.

"You coming?" she asked worried

"Yeah"

We linked arms just like we'er little girls and walked down the hall and stairs to face my fate. I was glad to have her be my side though this. We got to the door of the dinning room , I took a deep breath and Lila open the door. I seen something that surprised me....
