"AVENGERS." Director Nick Fury addressed as he stepped into the living room of the Avengers tower that was previously known as Stark Industries. The eye patch man gained the attention of everyone in the room as he strode inside, exiting the elevator with his cape wooshing behind him.

"Sir Fury? What are you doing here?" Thor asked as he sat on the loveseat with his mate next to him. Wanda, the youngest Maximoff twin, was leaning against the giant God of Thunder as she felt comfortable listening to his thoughts of joy and happiness over the simplest of things.

"Please don't call me sir, Thor." The said god nodded and wrapped an arm around Wanda, bringing the brunette closer into his embrace. The brunette inhaled his musky scent that her relaxing immediately.

"Of course, si-" he paused, clearing his throat once Fury looked at him with a pointed look. "Fury." The blonde corrected, a small grin on his face while Fury nodded his head. Wanda wrapped her arms around his waist as she placed her head on his shoulder. The brunette loved cuddling with her mate - she always felt safe in his embrace.

"How is it going with the Hydra base operation?" Fury asked the smartest pair of soulmates in the room, Bruce Banner and Tony Stark. Each with an IQ of over 200, the two were a power couple filled with brains and both cocky yet awkward smiles. The two had to be one of the smartest people in the world as they could find out anything they wanted if they concentrated hard enough. However, if there was one thing that had yet to find out was the missing piece in both of them. The two were both mate's, but neither of the two held each other's name which meant that there was someone out there that was theirs.

"It's going good," Tony answered, smoothly, even if his heart skipped a beat at the lie.

"It's going no where." Bruce deadpanned only to receive a nudge from his mate, who playfully glared at him with a smirk tugging at his lips.

"Thought so." Fury hummed as he gazed at Steve and Loki, still a bit uncomfortable with Loki being here but knew that the god of mischief wouldn't do anything as long as his mate was in his arms, which he currently was as they sat on the couch opposite the huge tv Tony installed for the group.

"Fury!" Exclaimed a joyful Pietro, his Sacovian accent thick as he greeted the man with a big warm smile, entering the room with his mate strolling behind him, his hands stuffed into his pocket. "Vhy are you here, my friend?" He asked as he plopped down on the sofa, wincing slightly at the sudden course of pain that ran through his body from his almost healed injuries. Sensing his distress, Bucky shifted closer, wrapping his arm around the speedster's waist and pulling him closer into his embrace. The silver-haired male crawled onto his mate's lap, finding it more comfortable than sitting on the couch. Bucky felt a tiny tug on the end of his lips as he wrapped his arms around Pietro, his chin on his shoulder as he inhaled the speedster's calming scent of rain and lilies.

"I am here because I wanted to tell you that I've recruited another person to help you with this case." Fury answered, shocking the rest as he had never done a stunt like this, especially one which revolves around a HYDRA case. "She will be here at five in the evening. Sharp." With that, he turned on his heel swiftly, striding out of the room full of Avengers and their mates. His cape swayed after him as he entered the elevator, nodding at the Avengers one last time before the doors closed.

"Well, that was surprising," Sam commented as he gazed at his mates with wide eyes. Natasha and Clint shook their head, small smiles tugging at their lips at their funny yet lovable mate. "What? It is!"
