THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE AVENGERS sat on the wooden stool of the kitchen island, a fresh pop tart in her hand - one that Thor kindly made for her as a welcoming gift. The girl was munching on the delicious flavour of red velvet, one she rather enjoyed a lot.
The taste was delicious, even if it was unhealthy to eat something with food colouring and whatever in it. Alexis didn't really care if she was being honest. She would rather die eating food that tasted good than live eating food that made her want to vomit everywhere. She HATED vegetables and fruits. She never liked eating them and preferred to just munch on stuff that was very unhealthy but you what, YOLO.
"So," Sam broke the awkward silence in the room, getting slightly fed up with it. All of the Avengers sat with their mates around the kitchen island, some standing up as well as an awkward silence hung in the air.
Alexis didn't realise that they felt uncomfortable; she made herself comfortable in every situation. The blonde was joyfully eating her pop tart, unaffected by the silence that loomed over all of them.
"Can I have another one?" Alexis asked once she finished her pop tart, gazing at Thor and breaking the silence a bit. The god nodded, shocking Sam as his jaw fell to the floor in shock.
"Wait a second!" He exclaimed, shaking his hands everywhere. "How come she gets to have some of your pop tarts?! Every time I want one, you throw me across the room!" Alexis let out a laugh, shaking her head as she stood up and walked to the cabinet where Thor placed all his secret pop tarts.
"I'm just special." She said and pushed away at the other boxes and grabbed the one she wanted, grinning when she saw Vanilla Latte. She loved coffee, and she loved pop tarts, so she was ecstatic to see a pop tart with coffee in it.
Thor's mouth dropped open as he saw the newest addition to the team find his SECRET poptarts. These were the ones he hid because they were limited edition and he didn't want anyone finding them because he knew that someone would eat them all.
"H-how?" He asked as he pointed at the box that had 'limited addition' printed at the front in gold.
"Did I find this?" Alexis finished off. The god of thunder nodded. "Well, for starters, your fingerprints are all over it, and the cabinet handle is sightly bent because of how strong your hold is, even if you try to be gentle." The others looked shocked because not even the assassins could find where he hid them, especially since Sam kept bugging his mates to find them for him.
"Wow, you're smart." Pietro awed as he stared at his the person that was going to be his new best friend. "I like you." Bucky growled lowly, jealousy coursing through him as he tightened his grip on Pietro.
"Thanks," She laughed, her giggles echoing throughout the room. "I like me too."
