Third Person POV

Four years later

"Ow, ow, ow what the actual fuck Rose!" Fitz growls, trying to block the younger girl's fists.

"You bastard!"

"Stop it." He warns, grabbing her wrists.

"No." She shakes her head before letting it drop so he couldn't see the tears welling up in her eyes.

"Talk to me, just tell me what happened." He pulls her to the couch.

"Well... a couple days ago I- I was thinking that maybe we could try again an-"

"Try what again?"

"Y'know... us. We've been getting along so much better lately."

"O-oh, I was thinking that too." He gives a shy smile as he places his tattooed hand over hers.

"But things have changed." She slips her hand away.

"W-what?"

"I'm... I'm pregnant Daren." She could feel her anger slowly coming back.

"Pregnant? For how long?"

"Three weeks."

"But how we-"

"Trace and Dati's new year's party."

"Holy shit. I forgot about that." He rubs his hands down his face.

Fitz and Rose had broken up after two years of being together but continued to live together. It was a weird time in both of their lives. He had promised to turn his life around and get a normal job but she grew impatient of the setbacks. They wanted to get away from each other but they wanted to stay by each others side as well. After the first few months of the break up, they decided to keep it casual: only using each other for sexual needs.

"What are we gonna do?" She finally let the tears fall.

"Hey please don't cry it's gonna be okay." He pulled her into his chest and let her wet his shirt with tears.

Nine months later

"I hate you so much Daren Fitzgerald! I'm going to spit on your grave!" She screams.

"If you push just a little harder I could be dead right now." He whispers in her ear, pushing her hair away from her sweaty forehead.

She gasps and looks over at him for a moment.

She knew she had heard that sentence before but she couldn't remember where.

"I can't do it!" She whines.

"What do you mean you can't do it?" The doctor looks up.

"It hurts and I'm exhausted." She gave him a duh expression.

"Oh hell no, you are not giving up because you're a lazy ass bitch now push my fucking children out!"

"This is probably the weirdest couple I've seen in here and I've been here twenty years now." One of the nurses whisper.

A few minutes had passed filled with crude remarks and threats before a baby's cry was finally heard. Soon after the second crying baby was heard.

"I did it." Ro whispers over to Fitz.

"You did it." He chuckles, holding his aching hand.

"Here are your two healthy baby boys." The nurse comes back into the room handing them one each.

Ro began to cry again, happy tears this time.

"I think you already know Trace and Dati want to be the Godparents." Fitz laughs quietly.

"I'm happy he found someone." She replies, letting the little boy grab her finger.

"Yeah me too. So what names are we picking?"

"I like Caleb and Charlie."

"Did you just- we are not naming them that just because you love stranger things right?"

"... Of course not. Now who's last name?"

"Mine."

"Jeez you didn't even think about it." She rolls her eyes.

"Well... that's because I want us all to have the same last name." He looks down at her with a smirk.

"W-what? You don't mean-" Her eyes widen in shock.

"Yes, you're marrying me woman."

"That wasn't even a question, that is not how you ask someone to marry you."

"That's because I wasn't asking, I'll drag you down the aisle if I have to." He shrugs.

She couldn't help but laugh at the man next to her. She looked him over for a minute with the most intense heart eyes you've ever seen before speaking.

"I...I love you."

"And I love you."

And the rest was history.

Author's note: you guys have no idea how sad I am to end this. There was a time where I thought I'd never finish this. It's really unlikely for me to end a story so.. Happy? Nobody important died or had something tragic happen at the end no matter how much I've thought about it lol. This is my christmas present to you guys. The fact that you actually enjoy stories like this amazes me and I appreciate each and every one of you.
