Chapter Five: What the Hell Do You Mean Code Red?

Clary
I've only been wearing these red Stiletto heels for ten minutes and it already felt as if my feet were gonna fall off from soreness.

I sat in the limo with Alec, mentally preparing for the mission we were about to face.

It was oddly silent, and although a million things were running through my mind at the moment, I couldn't help but stare as Alec kept attempting to put on his tie.

After two more minutes of watching this, I scooted next to him, yanking the tie out of his hand. Alec watched me as I wrapped the tie around his neck, tying it without effort.

"The key to tying a tie is simple: just go with the flow." I told him, knotting it perfectly and easily.

Alec's eyes were on me the entire time, and for some odd reason, the small space in between us was making my heart beat faster than I even realized.

My fingers began trembling, and I slowly sat my hands back in my lap as Alec complemented, "You have beautiful eyes." I cleared my throat, looking down at my hands.

Was I blushing?

Yet Alec didn't stop there, instead he continued by saying, "Green eyes are the most rare eye color in the world. But emerald green...damn." I couldn't help it, but I chuckled, sending the intimacy of the moment away.

"And you continue to sound like you were born from a textbook." Alec only rolled his eyes, making me laugh even more.

"Whatever you say Little Girl, just remember your ear piece will ya?" I gave him a look at the name "Little Girl."

I was in my early twenties. How was I a little girl?

"Little Girl?" I questioned him, my eyebrow rose in a thin red line.

Alec smirked and said, "Yes, and that will be your code name for now on." Oh God. Why was he bringing code names into this?

I face palmed myself by murmuring, "Code names?" Alec nodded, running a hand through his perfectly perfect dark hair.

"Yep. And in these operations, you will call me Ultra Sexy Galactaman." I pace palmed myself once again.

What was I getting myself into?

Finally, the time had come when the limo pulled up to Rapheal Santiago's mansion, the manor a flash of elegance and perfection.

"Damn," Alec whispered in impression as the limo driver opened the door to let us out.

I was the first to climb out, people from all around the grounds of the manor facing us, murmuring as we stepped out and revealed our presence.

Obviously every citizen that lived in the state of New York knew who I was, but Alec was the one everyone was whispering of. Well, both of us truly.

As we walked through the carpet leading to the door, I heard the whispers among the people.

"Who's that stranger next to Agent Fray? He's hot as hell."
