[Tim's P.O.V.]

I woke up on the first day of summer vacation to see Brian sitting on the tree branch outside my bedroom window. he had a habit of appearing in the weirdest places, especially when those places are in trees or up high. I gave Brian my death glare, nearly making him fall off of the branch when I shouted, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING???" "Waiting for you to wake up so we can start searching, Tim," he answered back, rolling his eyes. I smirked, glancing to see that it already around six-thirty at night. looking over at Brian, I growled, "You could have woken me up!'

"You looked so peaceful," Brian complained, looking down. "And usually, if someone tried waking me up from a peaceful sleep, I'd probably kill them. And I didn't want you to kill me!" I laughed, walking over to my closet to get changed. When Brian started laughing, I looked down to see that I was in my Spongebob boxers and nothing else. I frown, throwing a notebook at Brian and making him fall off of the tree branch before I went to my closet to get some clothes on.

I came out of the closet wearing my yellow-orange hoodie and blue jeans. Peeking my head out the window to see Brian on the grass atleast fifteen feet below me, I shouted, "Did you bring the camera?" Brian shook his head no, so I spent another five minutes digging through my closet to find my working cam-corder. I say working cam-corder because all of my other ones just static up when I turn them on. Yes, it is annoying. No, there is nothing anyone can do to fix it.

I took my time getting out of my house. luckily, Gama was just so awesome that even after I told her Brian and I were going legend hunting, all she did was tell us to make sure our socks didn't get wet and soggy. that's why I love Gama so much! <3 When I finally got to the back yard, Brian was still laying in the grass. Kicking his side slightly, I muttered, "Get up, lazy bones." Brian glared at me, standing up while saying "You could've made me break my bones!" I shrugged, secretly feeling guilty for throwing the book at him, turning to walk towards the woods behind Gama's house. Brian followed, brushing grass and dirt from his pants.

About an hour later, the sun started to set. Brian and I were a good distance into the woods. Far enough that if anyone were to scream, no one from the outside world would be able to hear them. Whoa, I scolded myself for thinking a thought like that. thinking of thoughts, did I forget my medication? I stopped in my tracks, almost dropping the cam-corder. "Brian," I whisper, "I think I forgot to bring my medication!" Even though my back was to Brian, I could hear him facepalm and start to back away. As if on que, I started hacking and coughing to where blood came up with each cough. Brian, unsure of what to do, knealt down beside me. "I'll go get your medicine," he said, standing up and running in the direction of home.

i forgot I had the cam-corder running still, so I pressed what I thought was the power off button but it turning out to be the zoom. I blammed it on my vision and mind turning fuzzy. On the cam-corder screen, I saw a strange black figure. Curious, I looked up to see a figure in the distance. It looked well dressed from what I could tell, and MAN was it pale! I think even snow was tanner than this guy! Something tugged at the back of my mind, as if I should know this tall, pale person. But at the moment, I couldn't remember. Lowering the cam-corder, I laid down on the woodland floor. As the world faded to black, my cam-corder made a beeping sound to try and let me know the batteries were running low. Best good-night-sound to sleep to. especially sense I didn't know when I was going to wake up.
