The entire world was dark. I couldn't even see my hands. The last thing I remember was seeing him; the Tallman.
And then I could see again. I was in a room with a long, mahogany, dining room table. Tallman was there, a guy about my height standing next to him. The guy wore a yellow-orange hoodie and had on a black cloth mask with red circular eyes and an equally red mouth. Then Tallman spoke: " Hoodie, my faithful proxy, do you know your mission?" 'Hoodie' nodded, sweeping an arm in my direction. "I have found him, master," Hoodie responded.
Tallman turned his no-face on me, looking me over. He teleported to my side, making me jump in surprise. I cowered down in the chair I was in, his sightless stare making me uncomfortable. Tallman chuckled, reaching for something in his coat pocket. He pulled out a hand mirror, handing it to me.
I slowly took it from him, afraid to look in the mirror. "Look, Tim," Hoodie muttered from the far end of the table. Curiosity took over and I looked in the mirror. But I didn't see me. The.......thing I saw......it was definitely not me.
The person in the mirror had my hair, but that was it. The person had on a white mask with black circular eyes and a black painted pouty face. He was wearing a bright yellow hoodie, from what I could see.
Before I could stare at the strange reflection any more, Tallman took the mirror away and said, "You will make a wonderful proxy, Tim."
And then I woke up.
Immediately after I woke up, I sat up where I was, panting from fear. I was still in July's cabin, laying on the couch. I had alot of questions on my mind. Who was this Hoodie guy? What was up with my reflection? Why did Tallman visit me in a dream? But the question I wanted answered the most was "What is a proxy?"
