"Well, at least you two are back." Joshua breathed a sigh of relief "Now we're just waiting for Chan." Joshua bit his lip, he reached for his phone. Soonyoung leaned over his shoulder and pouted,

"Call him," he said "then we'll find out if he's okay. The kid's attached to the thing, he wouldn't miss a call unless there was a problem." Joshua went to his contacts and found Chan's number, immediately calling it - he waited.

And waited.

"He didn't pick up," Joshua whispered, Soonyoung pouted again. Pulling out his own phone he tried to call him, getting nothing they both looked at Junhui; who then tried himself and came back with nothing. "There's definitely something wrong,"

"I'll get Seungcheol, you two go out and try to find him - if he's been killed, heaven forbid that's happened but if, you two go out and look for any sign of a police car - search everywhere, he has to be somewhere." Soonyoung fretted, he ran off to go and get Seungcheol leaving Joshua and Junhui to go and find Chan.

"Come on, Josh, get your shoes on and let's go find Chan." Junhui said, already halfway out the door. Joshua put in his shoes as fast as he could and the two left the apartment to go and see if Chan was at least still alive.

"Where do you think he would be?" Junhui questioned, looking down an alleyway for any sign of the boy. Joshua didn't reply, he wasn't entirely sure where Chan would be. After ten minutes they had checked all the places where Chan would normally be, but found nothing. "It isn't like him to just... disappear."

"Obviously not," Joshua said, running down an alleyway and then back up when he found nothing. "Can we stop for a second, all this running around is tiring me." Junhui nodded in agreement, they paused for a moment and during that time woman came up to them,

"Sorry to disturb you but did you say you were looking for someone named Chan?" She inquired, both nodded "Oh, well, if you must know he's been rushed to hospital although everyone presumes he's dead - this was the only thing left at the scene. Assuming he's the guy you're looking for, of course," She held out a piece of paper which Joshua took from her.

"How do you know this?" Junhui sputtered, the lady fumbled around in her bag for a moment before pulling out a badge,

"I'm an off-duty officer, but I guess it pays to always carry this around." She waved the badge in front of them. "Hopefully he'll be okay but by the looks of it he was shot - three murders in a month is some this kind of serial killer or something." Joshua and Junhui looked at the each other, they both knew it was but weren't sure if they should mention it to the officer just now. "Well, good luck, the police have already been informed." The officer bid them goodbye.

Junhui gave Joshua a panicked look, "We should get to the hospital," He grabbed Josuha's arm and they both ran in the general direction "And call the others while you're at it. I didn't bring my phone."

"Got it, and don't worry about leaving me behind Jun! I'll get there eventually." Joshua assured him. Not the fastest runner out there, Joshua knew that his full running speed was holding back Junhui from going at his own full speed. Junhui nodded and sped up, dodging past people who all stopped for a moment and questioned the situation before continuing on their way.

"Hey, have you found Chan?" Seungcheol's voice rang into Joshua's ear.

"No, but an officer told us that... oh dear this is strenuous, Chan's been shot and taken to hospital - Jun and I are going there now." There was a crashing sound on the other line that made Joshua wince. "Seungcheol? Are you alright, Seungcheol?"

"Sorry, Josh, I'm okay. Chan isn't okay though," His voice came out raspy and desperate, Joshua didn't like it at all. "We're all going down there, and we can discuss when we get there."

"Got it," Joshua hung up and picked up his pace, the quicker he got to the hospital... well, it doesn't really make a difference as to what happened to Chan.

"What took you so long?" Junhui asked once Joshua got there, "They won't tell me anything because I'm not family or Seungcheol."

"You could've lied." Joshua said,

"Tried to, they almost kicked me out when they checked my ID." Joshua let out a sigh, Junhui just shrugged "We just have to wait for Seungcheol to get here. They did inform him parents but they'll take longer." Joshua sat down in the nearest available seat and gestured for Junhui to join him.

"Well, we can't do anything else other than wait." Joshua said, Junhui noticed the annoyance in his voice. He was acting like this to hide the pain, Junhui knew that.

Seungcheol showed up looking like a mess, such a mess that it took some effort for the people to believe the fact that the person in his ID photo really is the same messy looking person in front of them,

"Listen, you'd look like this too if you'd just found out that one of your best friends is probably dead!" Seungcheol spat, pushing away the hair from his forehead "Just look at this, it's the same person! Both are me! Look into my eyes and tell me they're the same - you don't have to because I know that already! We're the same!"

"Seungcheol, calm down." Jeonghan grabbed onto Seungcheol's arm to hold him back from attacking the poor girl behind the desk that was just doing her job.

"Sir, I think this is enough." She collected herself and replied. Standing up she went to talk to a higher up in an office,

"Hurry up! I want to know! I have to know!" Seungcheol screeched, everyone looked at him. He had truly gone insane at this point.

"I thought it would take him longer to lose himself, but apparently not."
