"Okay, but seriously, it sounds dumb," Soonyoung said "but it has some depth right?" Several people blinked at the boy "No?"
"You think this is all Seungcheol's doing?" Joshua repeated, Soonyoung nodded profusely "When I just told you, the killer is after him."
"What if that's what he wants us to think?" Soonyoung pointed out "He could be making all this up, just because he wants everyone gone."
"But, that makes no sense. He could just cut off ties with us? Kick us out? He's the one that gets a say in all that kind of stuff," Junhui added
"Yeah I get that, but I don't think he'd do that," Soonyoung mumbled, sinking back into the couch
"He wouldn't do that and yet, he'd killed us all? Soonyoung - you just sound like you're trying to cover up for yourself," Jeonghan spat, causing Soonyoung to pout and hide himself "We don't know who it is but it definitely isn't Seungcheol - that would make no sense, and a lot of timing doesn't add up. If anything our suspects should be people who have always been missing when someone's been killed and you're one of those people!"
"So are you!" Soonyoung retorted, regaining his confidence for only a split second "You just leave without mentioning that you're doing so and then come back like it was nothing. We have no idea what you're doing! And, besides, I always go with someone! If anything you're the one going around killing us all!" Jeonghan fell silent, much like everyone else.
"We weren't together for a few minutes when Chan was killed," Junhui muttered, Soonyoung turned and glared at him sharply,
"We weren't together for ten minutes around the presumed time Chan was killed because you got thirsty and wanted water - I sat on a swing in the park talking to a lovely little girl and her mother until you came back! I don't see why you're all blaming it on me."
"Right, right, okay, you're innocent," Junhui backed down and shuffled closer to Jeonghan in search of some kind of comfort.
"Guys, can you all just stop?" Wonwoo said, gaining everyone's attention. "I don't mean to go around poking fingers but a lot of you aren't necessarily innocent yet."
"Like who?" Hansol inquired,
"Well, for one thing you aren't. Jun, Soonyoung, Seokmin, Jeonghan - you're all suspects." The four of them couldn't really do much other than glare "And I hate to say it, but even you are Joshua."
"I know, Seungcheol mentioned it to me before. It isn't comforting, but it's understandable," Joshua was the only person who could find it in him to stay calm.
"Can you imagine that?" Soonyoung snorted "Joshua? Our Joshua? The killer? That would be wild!" Several others raised their eyebrows at him as he continued to babble "What? Don't tell me you don't find such a thought ridiculous."
"We do, Soonyoung, but what we're wondering is if you're okay?" Minghao's voice barely came out louder than a whisper.
"Not really, this whole is starting to get to me. Makes me wonder if I should be looking forward to finding out who it is... but when I found out it's probably because I'm next," Soonyoung smiled,
As he thought about it more; a lot of what he was thinking these days was really morbid. He knew he wasn't smart enough to solve this and figure it out, but he wasn't sidling up to anyone else because that could get him killed.
"Yes, and if you don't keep your mouth shut you'll be next." Junhui hissed, "That came out weirdly, but you get what I mean right?" Soonyoung knew exactly what he meant - the loud obnoxious one usually died quickly, the less annoyance the better.
"I'll keep an eye out," Sooonyoung said.
