"You know you can talk about it, Ruth? I am your wife; you know that, right?" Mary asked, pacing in front of John's chair. "No, you're not my wife anymore; you're not the wife I married," John groaned as he stood up, "I have to go to work," He grabbed his coat from the rack and wrapped the darker blue scarf around his neck. John slammed the door to the flat and left the two Rosamunde Watsons to themselves.
Three months ago,
Sherlock was widely known as the Consulting Detective, And whether Sherlock recognized that as a Job title or a Religion, John had no idea. John found that police life wasn't quite right for him, so Sherlock got him a job at the St. Bart's Hospital above the Morgue Sherlock found himself studying in more often than not. He has been going from case to case, not giving one second of his free time to anyone other than Rosie. John never came home anymore. Sherlock guessed he was over some girl's house snogging or even worse, shagging. Half of the time, Sherlock found it correct as John would come back in the late night, sex flush on his cheeks. Eyes still dilated, not yet finished coming down from his orgasmic high. Sherlock at least. Preferred it when John stayed away the whole night and returned in the morning, which didn't happen often, but when it did, it was better than Sherlock knowing how much pleasure John feels with another woman. The other half, however, saddened Sherlock. John would meet up with Mary. On a special occasion, John would take Rosie along with. They both would reek of her perfume that Sherlock would give Rosie a bath almost as soon as he smelled her.
John wished Sherlock would stop being a little cuck about Mary. If anything, John should be praised for not killing them both. Hiding the fact that his wife and the mother of his child weren't actually dead, but actually faking her death and leaving for another life. John knows that Mary's still with the man she left for. That saddened John greatly. He wished he was enough for her. Still, he was rather content about losing Mary, then meeting Sherlock, but John had so much pent up sexual tension.
Sherlock guessed he wasn't ready for a sexual relationship with another man. And, that was fine, because it took Sherlock two years after Mary asked him out to actually know and understand what she meant. She was his guide. They both knew of each other's homicidal tendencies. When one would get in a bind, the other would come to help. They were okay with it, but then Mary just vanished. After three years of wondering where she was, Sherlock saw a glimpse of her at a coffee shop. He knew it was her because the look of terror and excitement mixed in with sadness shone brightly in her eyes. She ran away. As John was proposing. Sherlock chased her down. Of course, John never recognized him. John only saw the shorter, yet equally as lanky back as Mary sighed and gave in as just gave Sherlock a hug. John as confused. After that, Sherlock was invited to a lot of group parties. He mixed in so well, he was never seen. He was the main, only, violin player at Mary's wedding, Sherlock was one of the first people Mary invited to her Baby Shower and, Ironically enough, her bachelorette party before she had Rosie.
The texts were all there and John was furious with blind rage that he threw the phone at the wall. Sherlock rushed over to restrain and hopefully calm John down. In the middle of that, Sherlock's mobile began to ring. "Lestrade wants us," Sherlock said. "I'm not going, Sherlock." "John, Lestrade wants us," Sherlock said slower and more stern than before. John huffed in a sigh as he asked Mrs Hudson to watch Rosie. They both got into the car and drove to the address where Lestrade sent them.
"Hello, boys." Lestrade greeted. "Hey, Greg," John groaned. "Hello, Gavin," Sherlock said, putting his hands in his pockets. Lestrade Just sighed. "Here you are, Sherlock," Lestrade handed the Detective an envelope. He'd already opened it to make sure there wasn't anything dangerous like the last time. "You should take a look," he said, gesturing John into his office and closing the door behind him, separating the two.
John was glancing back to Sherlock as he was asking Lestrade questions. Sherlock opened the envelope and took out the pictures inside. 'SMILE, SHERLOCK!' Was written on one of a sleeping pair of men that Sherlock knew too well. And another of Rosie. Scar fresh. One of John walking to his car with cardboard boxes from him moving out of his old home and into the flat.
Sherlock gave Lestrade stern nods, then turned to leave. John tried to follow but was handcuffed to the chair. Lestrade sat back down in his chair. Meanwhile, Sherlock was going throughout the streets of London, trying to get ahold of Euros via Mobile. "She's expected to keep her mobile available to her at all times. Upon reaching his and John's flat, he knocked on Mrs Hudson's door. She opened it and looked at Sherlock worriedly. "What's gotten you so upset, dear?" She asked. Sherlock gave her a review of what was going on. He was also texting Sarah to see if she could get Rosie from Julie and keep her at her flat for a few nights to keep her safe. Of course, she agreed. Sherlock texted Rosamunde Watson, and he made one more message before marching outside to catch a cabbie. He ordered it to drive a couple of kilometres away and turn left down an alleyway. The cabbie did so and he told the cabbie to wait for him as he opened the door and marched down a few meters. Sherlock brought up a hefty flashlight as if to almost try and hit someone. The window of a very slick, black car rolled down and revealed Anderson staring back up at him. Sherlock turned on the light and looked down at Anderson as he smirked. "Do it; I dare you, Sherlock. Then, I can bring you in and you can shed some light on whoever it is you must be killing, Psychopath!" He said. Sherlock sighed in relief. "You ought to be careful; this place is full of crazies," He leaned back some, "Sergeant Donavan," He gave a polite and sarcastic nod. She grimaced. "You give me the bloody creeps, Holmes."
'Out of everyone that I work with, I'm surprised that I only weird out those two,'
