(Same day chat confessed to reader)

Jadens pov:

The window was what interested him the most. The teacher was yapping on and on about student behaviour.

Soon enough his lord and saviour the bell rang. Last period finally over and ready to head to the school library. He's been working non stop on a project in science. His partner Chloe had totally joked him and didn't do her part, so he was stuck doing it alone. (Yes Chloe bourgeois)

Time skip/
He had been working for hours on end, not even noticing that it was already dark outside. He back up his backpack and headed out into the city streets of Paris. He smiled warmly and hummed to himself. Which he found himself doing often when he was peaceful.

Suddenly he stopped, meeting a figure on top of the roof of a house.
"You know miss, it is dangerous to be on roofs" he almost yelled his lungs out for her to hear on top. She turned to look at who was talking and she spotted him. Jumping down from her spot and landing in front of him.
"Hi there" the girl said to him, noticing her attire, he noticed it was ladybug!!
"Oh Hi ladybug, Im sorry. I thought it was a random person. I didn't think it was you due to the darkness" he smirked sheepishly, rubbing the back of his (h/c) locks.
She smiled warmly, "Its alright, you did not offend me in anyway"

In fact, she thought he looked rather handsome. His (e/c) eyes shining in the street lamps glow, making them seem softer and sweeter to dive into. His gentil smirk that could make any girl swoon and the way his (h/c) looked soft to the touch. She stayed still, a moment of silent passing by, until he spoke again.
"Well, are you all alone tonight?" He asked and she looked surprised.
"In fact yes, i don't know where my partner is..." she looked around one last time before sighing softly.
"Oh I see...what if I accompanied you for this time? We can be partners in crime but we don't do evil" he chuckled , sending an innocent smile her way.
"You don't have to you know" she shook her head, "you have a home to go to "
"Yes, i know but we should always make sure a woman is safe before leaving her on her own." He nodded after her and she froze. Such simple Phrase touched her heart and she smiled.
"Alright, you can keep a watch with me" she started to walk and he followed beside her. Explaining stories of his past and his troubles. Making jokes and saying things to make her heart melt.
Everything went by so fast with him, that she didn't noticed that the shift was over and they were saying their goodbyes.
"So...we could totally do this again sometimes..?" She started getting a little nervous for his answer. Her inner marinette shinning through her mask.
"Sure, I had a fun time" he smiled warmly, his eyes softening as they shared another moment of silence, slowly he got closer to her, his lips nearing hers and she caught her breath and he backed away quickly when their lips slightly touched.
"Im sorry! I don't wanna startle you! It was just in the heat of the moment and yours eyes reminded me of someone I liked! Not saying you're not cool, you are but I fell for someone already and I can't give my heart away." He sputtered out and she was frozen.
"It's alright..." her heart broke, but she was still hopeful inside.
"Well..." he smiled warmly, kissing her cheek. "Goodbye ladybug" he walked off and nodded. Making her send a thousand butterflies in her tummy.

Could she like Jaden that much?
