Chapter Fifteen

Katie’s P.O.V

I awoke the next morning, absolutely ecstatic that it hadn’t all been a dream after all! Andy Biersack really was my boyfriend! I felt his arms still holding me tightly and his warm breath hitting my neck. ‘I could so get used to waking up like this’ I thought. I carefully turned to face him and wrapped my arms round him. I just couldn’t help smiling. Andy stirred a little, but never loosened his grip on me. He opened his eyes and beamed at me.

“So it wasn’t a dream” he said, with his slightly croaky but sexy morning voice. I assumed that by “it” he meant asking me out, me saying yes and him ending up sleeping in my bed with me. I grinned back at him and nuzzled into his bare chest.

“Do you wanna meet the rest of the guys today?” Andy asked.

“Yes yes yes yes yes! I’d love to! Oh my fucking god, I can’t wait!” I replied.

“Whoa, you’re excited.”

“Even though I’m dating you now, it doesn’t mean I’ve stopped inwardly fangirling over your band you know” I told him. He rolled his eyes at me jokingly and I pecked him on the lips before rolling out of bed. I shoved on my slippers and a comfy hoody and went downstairs to make Poptarts and brew myself some tea. Andy soon joined me and busied himself making coffee. Soon we were sat together at the breakfast table quietly, content with each other’s company. That’s another thing I liked about Andy: even if we weren’t talking, nothing would feel uncomfortable or awkward. I still couldn’t believe he was mine.

Crow appeared and leapt up on to Andy’s lap making him smile sweetly. “Oh hey buddy” he said to Crow softly. He began to stroke him causing him to purr, then without warning Crow jumped off and scurried away to another room. Andy was so cute with Crow. ‘He’s so adorable’ I thought about Andy.

“Me or Crow?” Andy asked.

Wait, I said that out loud? Better hope that doesn’t happen again. “Well both of you are, but I meant you. Well I was thinking it, but apparently I said it aloud by accident” I answered awkwardly. He chuckled and pulled me into a hug.

“You’re sweet, ya know that?”

“Meh, I try” I replied.

“I’m gonna invite the guys over now” Andy said as he unlocked his phone and started calling Ashley.

Words cannot describe how excited I was to meet the band. After all, Black Veil Brides had done so much for me in the past, and when I needed comfort most, they were always there. I totally zoned out, thinking about meeting the guys. Andy had to literally shake me in order for me to return to the real world.

“Hey, you okay?” Andy asked. “You were gone for a minute there.”

“Yep, I’m fine, just thinking. What if I make a terrible first impression and they don’t like me?”

“They will definitely like you. There’s nothing about you worth disliking, and besides, you made a pretty good first impression on me and Kellin.”

Oh my god, Kellin! I hadn’t called him or texted him at all in the whole week since I’d moved in with Andy. I hadn’t even contacted Sophie! I’d just been so distracted by Andy and spending time with him, I’d totally forgotten to talk to either of them. “Thank you, I hope you’re right” I replied to Andy quickly. “I just have to go talk to Sophie, I miss her.”

And with that, I sped off and opened up my laptop, immediately logging into Skype. I saw that Sophie was online, and called her straight away. After about 5 seconds, she answered.
