It was bright and early on Christmas morning. Little droplets of snow descended from the sky, creating small puddles of snow on the ground. The Wattersons and Senicourts, all gathered in the living room, were unwrapping their presents with smiles on their faces. Despite most of the presents being burnt under the tree the previous night, Santa Claus had brought replacements for them, thankfully.
After the floor was engulfed in ripped wrapping paper and ribbons, and the couch piled up with opened gifts, it was about time to make breakfast. But first, they all decided to take their first photo all together as a big family. Nicole and her mother set up the camera while everyone gathered in front of the Christmas tree, prepping themselves to look good for the picture.
After setting the camera on a timer, Nicole and Mrs. Senicourt hurried to join the group. Everyone smiled and stood up properly for the picture. "Alright everyone, say Merry Christmas!" Nicole said cheerfully.
Before any of them could repeat the phrase, Gumball gasped and pointed at the corner, "Squirrel at ten o'clock!"
Everyone looked over, only to see the squirrel from last night pop out of nowhere and charge at them. They all shrieked, some of them bending over, some turning away to avoid getting attacked in the face, while the rest just watched it rush toward them.
And that's when the camera flashed, taking a picture of their reactions to the squirrel attack.
