Lies.

(Kano Oneshot LOLOL SEATCH UP MEKAKUCITY ACTORS.)
—TRIGGER WARNING—
Lie 1: Happiness.
Kano lied everyday, every night. And every single moment of his puny life. He told himself to be happy. To be laughing at useless jokes. He found himself slowly crying every time he laughed. Every time he smiled, he felt his face curled up into a sad frown.

Lie 2: I'm fine.
Kano would tell himself he was fine, truth is he was far from Fine. The boy had been traumatised in the past, present and surely the future. He found out by telling a few lies and looking ok from the outside, he was fine.

He would come home drenched in blood. But the only thing he could muster was a slurred " I'm fine." The other members grew relentless with his reply, but took his word for it. What a deceiver he was.

Lie 3: Smile.
Kano in his past, had faced an unfortunate life. Covered in cuts, bruises and scars. His teachers would worry. And his classmates would bicker.

He really couldn't lie, but unfortunately he did. If he lied, he wouldn't be shrouded in darkness. If he lied ,the suns would shine and he would be given back fortune. If he lied, he wouldn't have to have his mother pull out the empty glass bottle from behind the cupboard.

Even after every punishment, even if he dragged himself to the bathroom. And look at himself in the mirror, he would plead. He would smile and he would look ok.

He was ok.
And he was happy.
