3.Snow White's New Home

Chapter Three

Alphecca collapsed breathlessly on the cold ground.She has been running all night at malayo na ang narating niya.She's still inside the forest but this time it became more darker even though it's already morning because of the thick branches of the trees that covered the area from the sunlight.

Madumi na ang kanyang katawan at gown dahil sa ilang beses niyang pagtumba sa lupa.Even her heels are broken causing her to walk barefoot.She is also hungry and thirsty pero wala siyang makitang pwedeng kuhaan ng kahit isang pagkain since all the trees here are huge mahogany.

She is scared.What will happen now?Her mother must be worried right now dahil hindi pa siya nakakauwi.And it's so stupid of her to forgot her cellphone in the car last night.She can't go back.Those men will surely kill her.Pero saan naman siya pupunta?

Nasa loob siya ng gubat and who knows what kind of danger lies in here.Her imagination started to run wild at naalala niya bigla ang movie na Wrong Turn.Paano kung may cannibal nga na nakatira dito sa gubat at kainin siya?Or huge snakes?Mamamatay siya dito at paniguradong hindi makikita ang katawan niya kapag nangyari iyon.

Maybe...maybe she can go back secretly.Tatawagan niya ang police at sampahan ng kaso si Adora.But would they believe her?She's just a seventeen year old girl anyway.Baka isipin pa nilang naka-drugs siya.Sino naman ang maniniwala na gusto siyang patayin ng pop queen?

"Lord tulungan mo po ako."Naiiyak niyang panalangin.Sa ngayon,siya na lang ang naiisip niyang makakatulong sa kanya.She is not a religious person but she still believes in Him.

Pero kung minamalas ka nga naman.Biglang bumuhos ang malakas na ulan soaking Alphecca wet and even her feet are starting to get covered in mud.Looks like she has to go on then kung ayaw niyang mamatay sa gutom at lamig dito.

Kahit hinihingal at paika-ika ay pinagpatuloy niya ang paglalakad.She saw a long stick at ginawa niya iyong tungkod.She feels so tired.She just wants to fall asleep at sana paggising niya ay isa lang itong masamang panaginip.What did she even do to suffer like this anyway?Mabait naman siya ah.The world is unfair.

Matapos ang halos isang oras na paglalakad ay nabuhayan ng loob si Alphecca nang marating niya ang dulo ng kagubatan.The rain is still pouring hard at may mga kidlat pa.Nang makalabas siya ay mas lalo siyang sumaya nang makita ang isang malaking bahay sa di kalayuan.

Binilisan niya ang paghakbang at kaagad naman niyang narating ang mansion.She gulped while looking at the huge black house.It looks kinda scary.Paano kung isa itong horror house?Takot pa naman siya sa mga multo.The lights are on and she is sure na may nakita siyang dumaang pigura sa bintana.

Pumasok siya sa malaking iron gate.It is already rusty and even made a cringing sound kapag ginagalaw.Nang makapasok siya ay hindi niya mapigilang mamangha.There is a grass pathway all the way from the gate towards the mansion's door.There is also a pool,an outdoor table set and a beautiful garden of black roses that looks like a huge maze.May fountain din sa gitna kung saan may estatwa ng nakahubad at nakangangang babae na para bang sumisigaw.

Siguro naman mabait ang nakatira dito diba?She will just ask them nicely kung pwede siyang mag-stay doon ng one night.Just one night and she'll try to go back home.

As lightning and thunder continue to light up the dark sky above,Alphecca slowly went up to the door and she's about to knock when suddenly,the door opened on it's own.

"That's strange"She muttered.She just shrugged it off at pumasok na sa mansion.

Bang!

She flinched and screamed in surprise when the door also closed on it's own with a bang.

"Baka dahil sa hangin."She thought.

Inilibot niya ang paningin sa loob.Although the atmosphere is a little bit scary,that didn't stop her from admiring the mansion's unique architecture and design.Para siyang bumalik sa 18th century with all the Châteauesque style of the house.The walls are also filled with lots of paintings and portraits.Pakiramdam niya ay nasa loob siya ng isang palasyo.She would've also feel like a princess right now if it weren't for the fact that she is covered in mud and dripping wet.

"Tao po?"Malakas na sabi ni Alphecca.

A cold wind swept into the room which caused her to shiver.Bigla ding kumidlat at kumulog sobrang lakas which caused her to flinch in surprise.

She look up and that's when she see the silhouettes of people standing on the staircase and hidden under the dark shadows.

"Who are you and how dare you trespass our house?"
