Chapter Three
Gwen's POVI needed to find my brother. He was the only one at this point who could make me feel better. He was the person I go to when I'm having self image issues.
"That must suck." A voice said stopping me and bringing me to a stop. I turned at glared at Lynette.
"What?" I asked, not sure why I was entertaining her.
"If I was him, I would have rejected you too. Who would want a fat bitch like you? Sure must suck to be mateless." She sneered. My wolf was angered at that. She was starting to take over. just when I was gonna go in for the kill, a pair of arms grabbed me.
"We are in school Gwen. You can't wolf out here." My brothers voice entered my ear. I relaxed, only because I needed to talk to him. I let him pull me away.
"Now, tell me why you are on the verge of a killing spree." He said when he got me a safe distance away from people. I told him what happened, and it's safe to say he is pissed.
"We have a training session after school, so after that show me who this bastardized idiot is and I'll make him regret hurting you." He said, making me smile slightly. I love my brother, he knows just what to say.
For the rest of my day, I have been on edge. I was snapping at just about everyone. Okay, so maybe I have some anger issues. I mean, but who doesn't.
My brother and I arrived at the training field with the Alpha kids. We grew up with Angelica and Aaron, the Alpha's kids. Also, Tracey and Tyrese, the beta's kids. It's always been us against the world.
"What the hell is she doing here?" I growled as I watched Lynette walk into the area.
"She is your sister." My father said walking behind her with her mother
"No she's not. She's the spawn of that whore on your arm." I spat out.
"The only whore I see is you." Lynette growled.
"You must be blind cause I have my eye on two of them now." I growled back. My temper fueling to the top.
"Shut up you mate-less fat hoe!" Lynette yelled.
"I'll show you hoe, slut!" I said.
"Greg get your sister!" My father yelled at my brother and before I could lunge he had his arms wrapped around my waist. He held me back, but I was determined to break away and break her neck.
I could have sworn that I smelt my mate but my wolf was too focused. Curse words spewed out my mouth, as did threats.
"I will have you banished if you put a hand on my daughter!" My whore of a stepmother said.
"Get your mother before she dies too." I growled out.
"At least I have a mother." Lynette snapped. Everybody and everything froze. My mother is a touchy subject for my brother and I. I won't let anyone bad mouth her.
"What did you just say?" I asked her calmly. She started pailing, realizing her mistake.
"I, um, I-I-I di-didn't say any-anything." She stumbled over her words.
"Greg let me go." I said still keeping my calm tone.
"Gladly." He said and took a step away from me.
"Today is the day you die." I said to Lynette and changed into my wolf. She was out for blood. I let her take over. My wolf growled at her prey and got ready to pounce.
Then a body blocked her view. She growled and looked up to see Aaron, the pack's future Alpha. She tried to go around him but he wouldn't let us. She was getting frustrated.
"Stand down Gwen." He commanded. My wolf bowed her head. She can't disobey an Alpha command, even if he isn't a whole alpha yet. She retreated and let me take back control of my body.
"Hey, look at me." He said. I lifted my head to look up at him. He put his hand under my wolfy chin. "I want you to go in the woods, and get yourself together. Okay?"
I looked between my furry body and my shredded clothes. I have nothing to put on. He raised his arms and took off his shirt. I took it and walked to the tree lining.
I went to a large tree and sat at the roots. I changed back into my human form and put on the shirt. I didn't really do a good job of covering me. It stopped just under my butt.
"Mommy, I wish you were here. I miss you so much. Why did you have to leave me?" I asked looking up to the sky. I like to believe she is looking down on me. A branch snapped, bringing me out of thoughts. I quickly turned my head to see Mr. Vegas standing by a tree. I glared at him.
"Are you okay?" He asked. That pissed me off.
"Why do you care?" I asked. He looked at me in disbelief. "What? I don't think the person who rejected me cares. Asshole."
"I care. I just-" He started but I cut him off.
"Save it. Don't you have some training to do?" I asked him. He sighed and walked away. Stupid attractive face.
