Chapter 7

As Annabeth explained her thinking, understanding dawned in Frank's eyes. He turned to Hazel, and stared. She cracked a bittersweet smile.

"It was supposed to be a surprise!"

He grinned and they kissed.

"But that means-. Hazel, how far along are you?"

"I don't know, three weeks?"

"And I'm 25 weeks. So, when our twins are born, he can't take them yet. If the spell he is using is the one I'm thinking of, he will need them all. All of the babies. So when your child is born, that's when he will take them."

"Oh god. Oh god!" Hazel started to cry. Frank held her.

"It's alright! We have 29 weeks to figure out a safe escape. We will need to utilize every single one of our advantages. And this won't be physically easy either. Boys you will have to do most of the heavy lifting. Piper is just recovering from labor, and Hazel and I are in no condition to be physically overtaxed." The boys nodded, "Let's get to work."

Annabeth stayed up all night, or at least what she thought was night, planning. Luckily she and Percy were good actors. She pretended she was having contractions. Then followed a series of symptoms, nausea, headaches and stomach pain. 

"I think I need a barf bag, and can I have a pencil, there is a trick I learned for contraction pains."

The stupid guards believed her, and she started to draw out plans for the escape. All she needed now, was some brute force. When her babies came, she would demand to be taken to a real hospital, on the grounds, that there would be no complications. Then she and Percy would scout where the exit was. When she returned, the boys would dig a path in the direction she scouted. They would run as soon as possible. That plan seemed good, until....


Lol sry for the cliff hanger! I had to. Tryin to finish this chapter up quickly. School to go to. Whatever, I'll post as soon as possible!
