Percy and Annabeth -- After CHB

Chapter 14

The others were allowed to enter the hospital room, and just like with Jason and Piper they watched Percy and Annabeth with their twins. 

Frank was the one the happy silence, "This is our best chance to escape."

Hazel, who was know showing, punched his arm.

"Frank's right." Annabeth said, pulling her eyes away from her babies. "We need a plan to get out."

"How are we gonna get away, with the guards right there. Plus, we have Thea and- Oh yeah! You never told us their names!" Piper said

"You're right! This is Luke Charles Jackson." Percy said

"And this is Bianca Selina Jackson." Annabeth said

"Oh, Nico would love that." Hazel said with tears in her eyes.

"Okay, the guards are only gonna be on the look out for us, so we need to be not- well us." Annabeth said.

"How do we do that?" Calypso asked

"Frank-" Annabeth started

"Oh no." Frank muttered

"Turn into a dog or something and sneak out. Then at the door, somewhere the guards can see you, turn into human. When they chase you, lead them around for a while, and then meet the rest of us in the back parking lot." 

"But we don't have a getaway car!" Jason said

Leo held up the truck keys. "I may or may not have swiped these."

The group laughed. It was totally something Leo would do.

"The rest of us will sneak out while you distract the guards. Easy."

"Okay" Frank said reluctantly

Percy helped Annabeth to her feet and Frank turned into a dog. He slowly trotted out, as the others stuck their heads out the door to watch the action. Frank turned human and caught the guards attention. One of the guards started to chase him, the other stayed put.

"I got this." Piper said. She handed Thea to Jason and stepped outside. 

"Hey! Revenez à l'intérieur!" (Hey! Get back inside) The guard shouted

"Je prends juste un verre d'eau." (I'm just getting a drink of water.) Piper said, keeping her cool

"Vite."(Fast)

Piper walked in front of the guard, and as she passed she stomped on his foot. He doubled over, and she kneed him in the stomach.

"Come on guys!" She shouted

The gang ran out toward the back exit, and the guard chased them. This time it was Percy's turn. He gave Luke to Hazel, and drew Ripide and swung it at the guard. He was mortal, so the blade passed through him, but it scared him half to death. He was so scared that his eyes rolled back in his head and he fainted. Percy put Riptide away, and waved at the staring hospital workers. He ran to catch up with the rest of the gang. 

When they got to the truck, Leo and Calypso jumped in the front, and the rest jumped in the back. A wolf jumped in the back, and promptly turned back into Frank. He smiled. 

"Sup."

Piper looked out the trucks window. He saw the guard that had chased him hold up a trigger, and press a button.

"GET OUT!!" She screamed

They all jumped up, and ran to the door. When they were all a good 20 feet away from the truck, Piper looked around and said, "Where is Jason? He has Thea. Where are they?!" She turned to the truck. "Oh my god! Jason!" Then the truck exploded. Shrapnel flew every where and smoke turned the air cloudy.

"NO!!!!" Piper screamed. "NO!!!!! JASON!!! THEA!!!" Tears streamed down her cheeks, and she screamed their names.

Annabeth grabbed her arm. "Wait-"
