You called out for me just minutes before they decided that a medically induced coma would be what was best for you. They're not wrong when they say that doctors make the worst patients.
I'm not sure how much you'll remember about the half an hour leading up to your coma. You were so high, babe. Turns out you can handle your morphine about as well as you handle your feelings. It was really good to see you so giddy though, medically induced or not.
We spoke about things, and I know I shouldn't have taken your word for it given the circumstances but it felt so real. You admitting that you wanted a future with me? Fuck Jac, if you wake up and remember what you said and i'm not there I don't want you to think that it put me off. That's a reason why I should have stayed, to reassure you.
