Chapter Five, Christmas Special Part One: Where's the spirit?

Dani had recently remembered how much she loved Christmas, and how last Christmas she wasn't really all that spirited; and neither were the rest of the Avengers. But this year, that was going to change; she had a plan.

Dani had been working with the Avengers as their personal hacker for about two months now, and it wasn't as fun as she expected. It was a little scary for her, seeing her father and all of her friends out in battle. They had one other that they could call on as well, Maria, who had taken a break from being front and center of all the fighting about six months ago.

"Dad, I need to call an emergency meeting!" Dani stated blandly.

"Why? Is something going on? Are you okay?!" Tony asked, his tone getting more frantic as he asked questions. Dani rolled her eyes, something she wasn't afraid to do anymore to her father.

"Yes, I'm fine, you guys aren't, and I plan to change it." She brushed his queries off.

"...Okay then? Call everyone up," he questioned his daughter.

"FRIDAY?" She called

"Yes?" the A.I responded.

"Can you call the Avengers up to the meeting room for an emergency on floor seventeen?"

"Of course, Miss Stark."

"You know, if you say emergency, they'll all think that something going on with you and HYDRA,"

"So? They'll get to the room faster,"

"You really are my daughter," Tony chuckled as he follow Dani to the meeting room. Completely empty. But she knew in a few minutes, they'd all come barging in the room, wondering what was wrong. And they did just that.

"Is HYDRA coming after you?!" Steve queried her abruptly.

"Wait til' every-"

"We're here!" Sam and Bucky followed Captain America. Clint, Wanda, Natasha and Vision came in not even a second later.

"Where's Thor and Banner?" Clint asked.

"Thor's back in Asgard. As for Bruce, I don't really know. Fury mentioned that he doesn't want anyone knowing his location unless he is needed or he visits," Vision chimed in. "Now, what is the matter of this meeting, Miss Danielle?"

"So... I have an idea,"

"So this isn't an emergency? You just said it because you wanted us to get here faster?" Natasha rolled her eyes

"Basically," Wanda replied for her.

"You don't know that, Wanda! This could help me bring back more memories!" Dani crossed her arms.

"Well, spit it out then!" Bucky

"None of you really do anything at Christmas." The whole room groaned.

"Really, Dani? You called an emergency meeting... about Christmas?!" Bucky raised an annoyed brow.

"Oh my god, you're such a drama queen!" Her father's expression faltered into an annoyed look.

"I wonder who I got that from," she retorted sarcastically, "anyway, yes. I recently remembered how much I loved Christmas as a kid, but I can't remember anything that happened at Christmas when I was little. I really think it'd help me,"
