Against All Odds

Chapter 14

~Jess's POV~

"Almost done!?" I call down the stairs.

"You can come down!" Taylor's yells.

I skip down the stairs in my baby blue skater skirt, black crop top, which is showing my bump alittle too much, and white vans. My hair bouncing behind me.

"Woah" I gasp, when I reach the downstairs bedroom.

Blue walls, blue clothes, blue blankets. Blue everything.

I give Nash a warm smile, and he walks over to me.

"Our son is going to be amazing." He whispers.

I nod.

Our son.

Yes. We are having a boy!

"Thank you guys." I hug all of them that helped out. "It's amazing."

The room fills with "your welcome" 's and "no problem"'s. They flash me smiles before leaving the room. I take my alone time to look around. It truly is amazing.

"Can't wait to meet you." I softly say down to my stomach. "Your gonna have a great daddy."

I smile thinking about Nash.

"Uncle Jack is gonna take care of us too. He'll be so proud." I start to tear up.

"Yes he will." I hear a voice behind me.

I turn around to find Jack J.

"Hey.." I say pulling him into a hug.

"Thought I'd come down." He looks to the floor.

He's hardy moved from his bed for a month. Living without Gilinsky has been too much to handle.

"I'm glad your up." I say squeezing his hand.

He nods.

He's been having a horrible time. I feel so bad. I just wish I could bring back Jack.

"I'm going out to eat with Carter. We'll be back." He says hugging me again.

I wave and he leaves me alone again.

Before going to find the boys I take one last glance at my ,son to be's, room. This just makes it so much more real.

"Boyss!" I quietly yell through the living room. But no ones there.

They must be upstairs. I use all of my energy to climb the stairs, by the top I'm exhausted.

"Guys where are y-" I cut myself off and put my ear up to Nash's door.

I hear 3 voices. Nash, Cam, and Shawn. Of course I listen in.

"So your gonna be a dad." Cam says.

Nash laughs. "I have no choice"

"So you don't want to be the father of her baby?" Shawn asks getting defensive.

"Not really. But I said I'd be there for her. It's just that my life's gonna be over."

Cam snickers.

"Should have thought about that before you opened her legs. You knew I love her." He says.

"Dude I liked her too! She was drunk so I took the opportunity." Nash tells them. I can just picture the smirk on his face.

Wow...

I can hear shuffling and then Shawn speaks.

"Ya know what Nash? You don't deserve to have her child."
