Making my way down the streets searching for Natty, I found her sitting in a park that's not far away from our house. She was sitting on a bench, beside a tree with her hoodie on and head down. I made my way down to where she was and sat beside her, she didn't look up at who it was, she just kept staring into the ground. "Are you alright my love?" I was at my best not to make it sound like if it was me but just a random stranger to make her finally look up. "Could be better, thanks" She replied, not taking her eyes off the ground. "What happened?" My fake tone made me sound like a 40 year pervert yet she still replied with a simple "Nothing". We stayed quiet for a moment or two. I wanted to hug her, comfort her, but I knew if she found out it was me sitting beside her she'd push me away. "I just don't kno why this keeps happening, he says he loves me but then each day I lose hope in what he says. I start to believe everyone else but him. Whenever he says he loves me, I just feel like if it's another lie to be put onto his record." Was she really thinking this? I make her feel like this everyday...wow. If I only knew before. I didn't know what to reply with, I raised my voice a bit louder and took my fake tone off so I sound like me again. "Listen, I love you. I really, truly do. If you think I'm lying, you should know you're wrong. Yes I say stuff I shouldn't be saying, but sometimes I just don't think about the stuff that comes out of my mouth. You mean the world to me, honestly. We have our ups and downs, but without you, it'd be boring, I wouldn't be the same, my life wouldn't be the same. You make me smile everyday and also make me happy. Seeing you smile is the most beautiful thing in the world. I'm sorry I hurt you before and now. Sometimes I can be a dickhead I know, but I love you" She looked up at me, smiling. She looked like a panda, her mascara was all around her eyes, dried tears were still visible on her cheeks, however she still looked gorgeous. "You know what? Your an asshole, but your my asshole and I love you" She put her arms around me and her head on my chest as I put my arms around her. I looked down at her as she looked up at me, I put my lips slowly up against hers and kissed her as she kissed me back. She pulled away ever so slightly to look back at me again. I wanted more of her, so badly. "Well, do you want to go back home and take up to our bedroom" I winked as she started laughing and so did I
