Poetry.....Beginning To End

Like A Bird

The majestic creature

Soars

High above the clouds

Into the heavens.

Servant to no one

Master of none.

Silk wings

Caress the cotton candy sky

Till a message

From inside

Rings

In his ears.

Then he flutters down

To the neighbor's water barrel

Drinks his fill

Then soars again

Majestic being of the sky

Bound by earthly ties.
