The bus ride

Hi my name is Katrina LaBush..... I'm in grade 12

    Today is Monday and I already want to crawl into  a hole and die there.

     My brother Samuel woke me up by screaming in my ear that there was no more toilet paper in the bath room.

    

He may be older than me but that doesn't stop him from acting half his age. So without opening my eyes I stuck my leg out from under the covers and kicked him in the croch...... Hard.

   "What the hell" he wined" Sarah " he called" Katie kicked me were the light don't shine". 

 My older sister Sarah came in and started laughing, with all three of us crammed in my tiny room the laughing seemed a lot louder." Uu-mmpf" I mumbled " leave before I dig my nails into your throat."

    "Katrina" my dad called"get down hear your late"

      I ignored him and headed straight to the bath room. As I looked in the mirror I smiled."Oh Jonah, of course you can sit with us at lunch" I danced  in the mirror. I've had a huge crush on this kid, Jonah Batly since grade 4.I'm gonna ask him to the snow ball dance.

  "Hurry up" Samuel screamed "Ka-tri-na."

 "SHUT UP" I yelled, I didn't have time to listen to my brother. All I could think of was Jonah. 'I'm not obsessing over him'I tried to convince myself. ' I'm just.....exited' I thought.

     Naughty thoughts filled my mind as I got dressed into a black cropped sweater ,tight ripped jeans and black converse. After quickly eating breakfast I ran to the end of my drive way just in time to catch the bus. I stumbled into the bus to find that there were no seats. 

     I was to shy to ask anyone to sit with them. Suddenly  I felt two strong hands grip my waist and easily pull me into a seat.

     Sadly, me being the clutz that I am fell back ward and hit my head on the window. I heard a low chuckle as I realized that I was laying across someone's lap.

"Are you going to open your eyes or lay on me the whole bus ride"He asked I could practically feel him smirking.

     "Haven't decided yet" I exclaimed. Suddenly I felt a warm hand touch  my chin and raise my face so that he could see me better. "I will bite you...... who ever you are"I threatened.

"Why don't you open your eyes and find out."he whispered huskily.

   "I'd rather not"I dead paned.

"That's fine" He whispered "You just want to lay on someone as godly as me" he stated sending shivers up my spine.

     My eyes bolted open as I felt him touch my waist and sit me up. Amusement flashed across his face as he saw my shocked expression.

     " Scared are we?" He mocked."your not use to people like me are you kitten"

"And what kind of people would that be?" I asked before I could stop myself

   He smirked and I noticed how handsome he was. His Carmel eyes burned into mine for a moment before he asked "Are you gonna get off the bus yet."

I blushed  as I realized the bus had stopped. As we got off the bus and started to  our walk separate ways I paused"You didn't answer my question?"

    "Sucks to be you then doesn't it, but don't worry you'll get over me."He smirked.

  "Pfft"I mocked "get over your self."

"What was that kitten?"

"Oh nothing."I mumbled.

"Good" and with that he was gone.
