"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Kindly put on your seat belts as we're about to land in approximately 10 minutes. Thank you."

I let out a sigh of relief and remove my headphones. After shoving them back into my backpack, I quickly put on my seat belt and braced myself for the landing that is about to happen. Zac chuckled beside me and casually fastens his seat belt with ease. Somehow, I feel very annoyed at how chill he looks and wish to smack him in the face. I didn't realize I was staring at him with disgust until he fully grinned at me.

"You know," he says as he straightens himself in his seat. "You can always take a picture of me. Do it as you will. I know a live action of me is already a gift from the gods that- ow. Hey! What was that for?"

Easing into my seat, I smiled and rubbed my hands using my lavender scented hand sanitizer, causing him to glare at me. "You talk too much, you're very cocky, and you're also very, very annoying. You deserved that smack."

Zac rolls his eyes at me and faces the front.

"Ladies and gentlemen. We are about to land. Kindly remain seated with your seat belts on. Thank you."

Thankfully, the plane landed with ease and I somehow did not feel like I was about to face my death. We had to wait for a few minutes before we could take our seat belts off and grab our luggage. Lucky for us, we were seated a little in the front so we need not wait long to come out of the plane. After a few rounds of checks and getting our checked-in luggage, we were set to go home. Well, Zac's home to be exact. He calls for a taxi and helps me put my luggage into the boot. We both automatically sat in the back seat and Zac immediately gives the driver our location.

"It'll take about 20 minutes to get to my dad's place. So, before you grace him with your presence, I'd like to just brief you on a few things. House rules, his schedule, our neighbourhood, etc."

I rolled my eyes but nodded anyway.

He clasps his hands together and smiles at me. "Okay, so, I am very grateful that you actually need a place to stay and my house is available for you to have you over. My dad will finally stop bugging me about getting a girlfriend."

I raised my eyebrow at him. "Excuse me? Is this some kind of joke to you? Why would he bug you about such a thing? Unless, of course I'm not judging, you swing it the other way."

Zac frowns and crosses his arms as he stares at me seriously. "I'm not joking; and no, I am not gay. So, as I was saying. Once we're back, I have no idea why, but dad has cooked us something. He was so excited when I texted him you were staying with us and decided that cooking beef stew was appropriate for an "early morning breakfast" as he says it. Anyway, you will be sleeping in our guest room, which will be next to my bedroom. I'll show you around when we get there. Dad doesn't work but he has his activities. So, while we're at work, we don't have to worry about his whereabouts. Also, he packs lunch and cooks dinner so try not to say "no" to him and be back for dinner. He's very particular about eating food outside of the house for some reason. We have a 24/7 convenient store down the road. I'd say about a 2 minutes walk. My neighbours are both amazing, except for their two daughters because they just don't know how to get the hint that I'm just not interested. Plus, they're both such sluts. What else... Oh, and we have a dog name Blue. Any questions?"

I blink at him and it seemed like forever since he started talking. I only nod and open my mouth as a question or two pops into my head. "So, let me get this straight. You have two neighbours pining over you while I, an innocent woman, will have to be in the middle of your drama. Also, what breed is your dog?"
