"Hoseok, darling, where do you think you're going?" The woman from the auditions, Hoseok's mother, asks as she places a hand on her hip.
"Oh we were just going to go get some food is all." he says and his tone of voice seemed to change to a much more serious one.
"With her?" His father asks as both of them glance down at our still connected hands.
"Yes." he says and his mother's eyes look me up and down then land back on our hands.
"Are you two dating?" She asks and Hoseok bites down on his lip.
He looked as if he couldn't answer.
Finally, he spoke.
"Yes." he says and his father looks over at me then at his wife.
"You know we don't approve of you dating Hoseok. It gets in the way of your dancing." His mother finally says.
"She dances too though. You've seen her dance and you loved it. I learn a lot of things about dancing from her too." he says and his mother goes silent for a minute before speaking.
"Okay. I guess I accept this..But if she becomes a distraction to your dancing I will demand you break up with her." His mother says.
"Yes mother." he says and bows down.
I watch as his mother and father slowly walk away and I see Hoseok stand up and turn to me with a sad face.
"I'm sorry." he says.
"Don't apologize, it's okay. Of course your parents wouldn't want you to get distracted. As long as I don't distract you, but instead push you to dance, we'll be okay." I say reassuringly and he nods and squeezes my hand a bit.
"Now, let's go on that date!"

When we arrive at the restaurant and get our food, we eat and start a conversation.
"So, what was that all about back there? Why are they upset about us dating? Don't they want you to be happy?" I ask and Hoseok looks as if the mention of his parents hurt him.
"They do want me to be happy.. it's just that they believe the only way I will be is if I'm dancing.
"Well there's going to be other things that make you happy." I say.
"Yeah and that's you." he says while giving me a smile.
"Then they should accept that. Dancing isn't everything ya know." I say.
"They think so. Don't get me wrong, I love dancing. It's just that ever since I was young all I've done is dance. My parents have kept me sheltered away and dancing is all I've ever known. Before we opened up the school I didn't have any friends because all I could do was dance. My mother believed friends were a distraction. She thinks everything is a distraction." Hoseok sigh and the tone in his voice upsets me.
"What about your dad?" I ask.
"Well he isn't as strict as my mom but since he sticks with her word he just goes along with it." Hoseok says and I frown and lay my hand on top of his.
"Well no matter what happens I'll always be here to try and help you feel happier." I say and flash him a big smile.
"Thank you Y/n, that really means a lot." he says.
"Well what are girlfriends for?"
We finish up eating then he walks me home.
When we get there he stands in front of me and grabs onto my hands.
"Tomorrow's class is leaning more of that dance. Then maybe afterwards, if you're not busy, we can do something." he says.
"Sounds fun." I say.
"Then I guess I'll see you tomorrow." he says as he leans forward and pecks my lips, making my heart flutter.
"Okay." I smile and he laughs a little and waves goodbye before heading back home.
I squeal a little out of happiness then walk into my apartment.
When I get inside I notice Jungkook asleep on the couch.
"Oh, you're home?" He asks once the door closes and wakes him up.
"Yeah, um..How did you even get in?" I ask.
"I know where you hide your spare key, Y/n." he chuckles as he sits up and rubs at his eyes.
I laugh as I make my way over to him and sit down on the couch.
"How was your class?" He asks.
"It was pretty fun." I say as I think back to everything that had happened today.
"That's good. I'm glad your enjoying your dancing." he says.
"Yeah. I really appreciate you pushing me forward in all of this. If you hadn't I wouldn't be in that school so I'm very grateful." I say and Jungkook smiles widely and nods.
"Of course. Anything for you." he says.
"Also, I have something I need to tell you" I say.
"Yeah, me too actually." he says as he sits up straight.
"You can go first."
"No you should."
"Why don't we just say it at the same time?" I laugh and he nods.
"Okay." he says and then leans forwards a bit.
"1 2 3..
I love you."
"I'm dating Hoseok."
