"You what?!" We both ask together, shocked.

"You're telling me that Hoseok and you are dating?" Jungkook asks.

"Yeah..I mean it just kind of happened. I like him, Jungkook. He makes me happy." I say and Jungkook's happy expression falls.

"And I don't? I don't make you happy?" He asks and I can hear the hurt in his voice.

"Of course you make me happy, Jungkook. You're my best friend for crying out loud." I say.

"That's the problem, Y/n! I'm in love with you but you only look at me as a best friend." he says and my heart stops.

"Jungkook..I-"

"Don't. Don't you dare tell me you don't feel the same. I already know. I just wanted you to hear me say how I feel. I've been hiding that secret for so long now and I just wanted you to know." he says and I sigh.

"Please don't be upset with me." I say.

"I'm not upset with you Y/n. Yeah, I'm disappointed and hurt but there's nothing I can do. I can't make you love me back." he says.

I felt my heart breaking for him.

Being in a one sided love would be hard.

How long had he loved me?

Why hadn't he said it sooner?

Would it have changed anything?

"I'm sorry, Jungkook." I say.

"You have nothing to feel sorry for. Just forget I said anything, okay. I'm happy for you. All I've ever wanted was for you to be happy and if Hoseok makes you happy then I support it 100%. Also, please don't let this ruin our friendship. Just put this in the past, okay? I really care about you and I at least want to stay your best friend." Jungkook says.

"Of course. You'll always be my best friend." I say.

He smiles then comes over and hugs me.

"So, what's for dinner? I'm starving!"

After Jungkook left I showered then headed to bed.

I kept thinking about what Jungkook had said earlier.

He was in love with me...

It seemed so crazy.

I've known him for so long yet I never noticed..

Although, now that I think of it, he's always been so caring and loving towards me.

How hadn't I noticed?!

I sigh and shut my eyes to sleep.

How did today manage to go from amazing to confusing?

This sucks.

"He really told you he was in love with you?!" Hoseok asks, eyes wide.

I respond with a nod.

"Why now? Why right when I finally get you." he pouts and I laugh and wrap my arms around his waist.

"You have me 100%. I'm all yours." I say and a smile lights up his face.

"Good, because i'm all yours too." he replies as he leans down and pecks my lips.

"Now, let's dance!" he says and twirls me around.

After dancing for a good solid hour, Hoseok announced that he had to meet up with Jimin.

This being because they had previously made plans prior to today.

"Have fun and be safe!" I call out as Hoseok walks away.

"You too!" He calls back before waving then disappearing from my sight.

I turn and begin to make my way home.

Being with Hoseok, I'm happy. Happier than I had been in a very very long time.

He is the sunshine that brightened my dark days and I'm in love with him.

I hadn't told Hoseok that yet but I would eventually.

I was just too nervous to.

I knew he was in love with me but I was just too shy and when I was around him I just couldn't work up the courage to say it.

Still, I wanted him to know.

Once I finally get home I relax for a little then I receive a FaceTime call from Hoseok.

When I answer it he's already smiling brightly into the camera.

"Hey." I say softly.

"Hi Y/n!" I hear as Jimin pops into view.

Hoseok laughs a little then pushes Jimin away playfully.

"Are you two having fun?" I ask.

"We are! It's really pretty here! I want to come here with you eventually." Hoseok smiles.

"Sounds fun." I smile.

"I miss you. Whenever I see something pretty it reminds me of you and I think of how nice it would be to bring you here." Hoseok says and I feel my face heat a bit.

"We can come here on a date." he then says and starts to plan everything out.

"There's something I have to tell you." I say, cutting him off.

"What is it?" He asks, giving me his full attention.

"Oh no! She's gonna break up with you!" Jimin screams from wherever he is.

Hoseok's eyes widen.

"No I'm not! I would never." I say and he seems to relax a bit.

"Then what is it? Are you alright?" He asks.

"Yeah I'm fine. I just wanted to uh...Maybe I should wait till I see you tomorrow to tell you." I say and he shakes his head.

"I wanna know now!" He cries out.

"Are you sure you don't want to wait till we can see each other in person?" I ask.

"I would but If I wait I'll be distracted all day." he pouts.

"Then okay, here I go." I say as I take in a deep breath.

"Hoseok, I love you."
