•Chapter 86•

•Harry's Pov•

I walked along the long corridors of the hospital. The smell of chlorine filled my senses among the empty hallways and rooms. My feet carried me down to the parking lot, my fingers clutched to the cigarette pack in my pocket. The lighter followed along with the paper box. A small tobacco stick was taken from the box, and lightened, burning in the warmth and disintegrating. I placed the paper filled tobacco stick up to my lips. Inhaling the smoke, I enjoyed the few seconds of relief with the world.

I never thought that anyone in my life would be gone. The way that they all left was tragic, but it's not like I could stop it. My parents being burned to ashes straight in front of my eyes. David being beaten and burned. Daniel having a bullet to the head. All of them were gone. They wouldn't hurt her anymore. They wouldn't hurt us. I didn't need to lose her because of a couple of asses. That was the only option for them to do. They had to be executed.

The door swung open, revealing Sarah sitting up in the hospital bed. The clothes that were on the side of the bed were clung to her body. Her legs swung off the side of the bed, stopping when I entered. "Hi." She mumbled. Her voice was delicate. She stood up slowly, her feet almost giving out underneath her. I reached over, my arm wrapped around her waist, supporting her up. "Thanks."

I looked down at her. "You okay?" I carried her in my arms as we walked. Her gaze stayed off my own. "Sarah." I took her chin between my fingers, having her look up at me.

"Why'd you do it?" She asked. I stopped in my tracks, placing her down onto the white-and-black spotted hospital floor.

"What are you talking about?" A small smirk appeared on my lips as I looked over her features. Innocent.

"Daniel." My mind went blank, cold even. How could she have known?

"We'll talk about it later." I instructed. I rushed her out to the car, buckling her into her seat carefully. No matter how badly it made me want to rip somebody to pieces toward the fact that she knew what happened, I still had to act like the loving fiancé that I am.
