We just hit the border line of Louisiana when my phone goes off I quickly grab it so it doesn't wake Anna since I just got her back asleep after a nightmare. Who would call at this hour its one in the morning, I answer the phone "hello" I ask "I heard what happened to Anna I can get the bastard with out anybody knowing about this" I should really start looking at the caller I.D cause I relies it's my moms oldest brothers son calling, I let out a sigh "Jensen I know you can do that. I know who it is, I was going to make a pit stop in Phoenix on my way to Cali since I moved there a couple days ago." I look up and see Jax looking at me in the review mirror worriedly, I give him a okay sign with my hand and he looks back at the road since he's driving. We've been driving nonstop back to Charming, Jax said it would be good just to get out of there, we stayed a little bit longer in town to grab some stuff for Anna. and went south through Mississippi and Louisiana. "really who hurt Anna, I will still beat the shit out of them." Jensen says through the phone gaining back my attention. "I'll answer it in a second but why are up this late don't you have to be at the field early." "well yea but I'm having trouble sleeping" "what tired of Conner and Bre's head bored banging against your wall" I say with a sarcastic tint to it, I hear Jax chuckle up front. "no" Jensen says over the phone. "then what is it Jensen Wade and I mean it if not when I get there I'll beat your ass!" I hear him sigh over the phone "fine it's..." "What is it JW I couldn't hear it" "nightmares dammit fucking nightmares is what is keeping me awake" I let a sigh out "Jensen how many times have I told you that PTSD is something big and serious, have you taken your meds for it" I say while pinching the bridge of my nose "I dont like taking them" "Jensen Wade call your coach and tell him that you can not make it cause you having problems with your hip or somthin then go in the damn kitchen and take you medicen right now or else ill beat ass I am not kidding" I say in my 'mom' voice that I picked up after helping raise Anna "im going im going geez you sound like aunt Norma" "Where do you think I learned it from dumb ass" I can hear him fumble around and hear pill bottles opening "did you take them" "yes mother I did now ill be asleep for the next week thanks to you" "wah wah youll get over, I gotta go love ya Jerk" "love ya too bitch". I put my phone down and close and lean back and close my eyes "Who was that" Jax asked "It was my other older cousin, and the reason I'm pissed at him his that he has PTSD from going to Iraq but he won't take his medicine for it!" "woah calm down Jo I'm sorry didn't mean to upset you" Jax said "No it's fine Jax he's just being stubborn and I'm just worried about him" I close my eyes again when my phone starts to go off again, but it's the song troubadour so I know its him I pick it up "hello" "Hey bean Happy late birthday" "Thanks uncle george" "well I got you a gift but its back home at the ranch" "thats fine for me I'm driving through there so I'll be there around mid day or so" "well i'm not there i'm up in new york state doing a show and Bubba is up in the north somewhere doing a rodeo so neither of us will be there" "okay can I know what the gift is" I hear the phone being taken by someone on the other end "Hey baby girl" "hi aunt Norma" "your uncle had to do something so I have to deal with telling you what your gift is" "is really that bad" "no its just that good" "well ha ha" "you ready" "yes aunt Norma" "its two tickets and passes to the ACM's" (A/N Academy of Country Music award show) "No way really I only went once and that was with Miranda a couple years ago this is awesome" "and you can bring one guest so either Anna can go or a special someone" "okay thank y'all so much I love y'all but I gotta go I'll see you in a couple weeks" I hang up the phone and do a little happy dance. "What's got you so excited" Jax asked me "My birthday gift from my aunt and uncle is two tickets to the ACM's award show next month" I say with a big smile on my face. "What's that?" he asked "hand me the pillow" he hands me the pillow and I quickly put it under Anna's head from where she was laying her head on my lap, and I quickly climb up front. "Soo what's the ACM thing" Jax asks me "Well it's this huge award show for country music and it's held at the MGM Grand in Vegas it is so cool I've only gone one other time with my friend Miranda that I was talking to the other day, and turn right up here at the exit." he gives me a weird look "trust me Jackson I've gone this way a tone of times, I know what I'm doing" it's quiet for a bit and I can't stand it so I hook up my iPod to the car and scroll through it till I find some fun music so I turn on Florida Georgia Lines It'z Just What We Do andspeak of the devil and he will come.

My phone vibrates I look down and see THubb pop up "someone is miss popular tonight" Jax says sarcastically "Shut it Jackson" I pick it up right as it's about to go to voicemail "Hey what up Ty" "hey Jo can I ask a favor" "yea what is it" "well you remember Jackie...Well we broke up and I kinda need a date for the ACM's can you help me find someone please" "Well Ty I already have a date but I know someone who might want to go" "really who" I scratch the back of my neck "well you remember my sister Anna" "yea I remember her do you think she'll want to go with me, are you sure" and with that I can't keep in my laughter in any more and let out a snort "are you serious Ty she'd love to go with you" "really you're serious she'll go with me" "Yes she will now why did you and Jackie break up?" "well you know we're in tour right, well I came home early to surprise her and she was in bed with another guy" when he says that I tune in to the background sounds and "are you drunk Ty" "Maybe" he slurred "Tyler end this call then you better call BK and come pick you up, cause I know you really liked Jackie and all and I know you on the verge of drunk stupidity but please call BK right afterwards okay" "okay bye" I end the call and lean back in the seat "tell me when we get to the Texas border so I can drive okay" I said to Jax "okay" he said. With that I fall into the darkness of sleep.

I wake up to someone poking my face, and slap the hand away. "Come on JoJo it's your turn to drive" Jax says tiredly, I open my eyes and get out of the car and walk around the hood and get in the driver seat, I look over at Jax and smirk "Well Jax you look like shit" all he does is glare at me. I put it in gear and pull out and start driving and soon later snores coming from Jax start to fill the car. I look at the dash 6 in the morning. I start to drive towards the small town of Cotulla, Texas and to my uncles ranch.

*several hours later*

I start to pull up into the drive of the ranch and drive past the main house and to the cabin, and pull in the front. I turn around and wake up Anna but she's already up and looking around worriedly "don't worry bout it squirt nobody is home okay I promise, no come on let's go inside." she nods her head I get out and she climbs out of the back and heads into the house. I turn and look over at Jax still snoring away so I do what friends do best annoys the shit out of each other at times, so I start to poke his face till he wakes up. He slowly opens his eyes and glares at me "Come on sleepyhead were at my summer home" he grumbles something and gets out I go up to the door and turn on the lights and head into the kitchen "who wants breakfast" I yell out to my small three room cabin "I do" Anna says from the doorway "Jax you want something" I yell out when he doesn't answer I go into the living room and find him in the living room looking on the corner "shit" I mumble under my breath "Jax" I call out to him he turns around and looks at me and points to the pictures and the photo box on the wall "what's this" he asked I take a deep breath
