"GIIIIRRRRLLLLLSSSSS WAKE UP AND HELP ME PACK PLEASE!!" Is what Eve and I woke up to. "WE'RE COMING" we scream in return. "I can't believe you got a year round trip. That's like a vacation for a year." Eve said tiredly. "Well I'm still going to be working. But, at least you and Ski will get to know Dylan a little better I suppose." Mom said while packing a fancy dress. "Looks like you aren't going to only be working. What's the dress for?" I asked with a raised eyebrow because she brought Dylan up. "Well a girl has to have a little fun now, doesn't she?" She said with a sly smile. "Ew okay stop mom. We'll take these to the car." And then then Eve and I went off to the car.
As Eve and I were putting a few of many suitcases in the trunk Dylan parked next to moms car. "Hi loves." Dylan said with a raspy voice. "No, it's too early for this." I said while walking back into the house and rubbing my eyes. Surprisingly Eve didn't follow, she stayed outside and waited for the door to slam shut before talking to Dylan, which was smart on her part.Eves POV
"You shouldn't be here. She doesn't want to see you." I stated in a stern whisper. "Is that how you should be talking to an adult? Especially an adult who's going to be babysitting you for a year?" Dylan tried to sound serious but looked like an angry five year old. "Is that the way you should be talking to me at MY house?" I spat and he kinda just started at me. "Now, you're going to get back into your car, go home and call my mother saying you're sick and will come over when you have a chance, but the twist is you're never gonna come back!" I said sarcastically.
(Back to Ski's POV)
I was standing in the bedroom window but didn't hear the whole spiel. Eve didn't know that so when I saw her getting read to turn I quickly went back into moms room to grab more suitcases. Moments later I hear her phone going off and it says "Skis Dad" at the top. I sigh to myself, grab the phone and rush to give it to mom. Apparently he's "sick" and can't come. I don't mind it but fucking hell what did you do Eve?
I grab the rest of the bags and head downstairs. Eve was laying on the couch and possibly sleeping? "I could use a little bit of help sleeping beauty." I say while setting down the bags and walking over to her. I shook her to wake her up and of course she screamed. "There's not a chance you were in that deep of a sleep within a few minutes. And shush you don't want to wake Evan up. I don't feel like dealing with him yet." I say while sitting her up. "You don't look too good. You getting sick?" I ask. "Honestly I wouldn't doubt it." Eve said with a sniffle. "Okay hang tight love we gotta get the rest of this in the car and I'll kick mom out of the house since you kicked Dylan out and then I'll take care of you." I explained but she probably didn't get half of it since she was falling asleep on my arm.
I laid her back down and threw a blanket over her. Then I packed the rest of moms stuff into the car and woke Eve up again so she could give her a hug goodbye. "Have fun mom!" We both say as we watch her drive away. "K I'm going back to sleep. Can you make me soup?" Is what I hear and before I can even reply she was already sound asleep.
