Song of the Chapter- lullaby by the spill canvas
(a/n you guys have to listen to this song for this chapter! It's so beautiful😭)
Harry-
My body stretched out, the joints in my back popping as I twisted and turned.
My eyes landed on the figure next to me, who's back was facing me at the moment. My eyes became more clearer as I focused my vision on Al, who even though her hair was scattered everywhere she still managed to still look beautiful. I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her closer to my body as I held her in my arms.
I then placed a soft kiss on the base of her neck.
"I love you"
I don't know if she's awake yet, my arms drape over her waist. My fingers trace patterns on her hip bone, feeling the soft skin.
I love her.
I love her without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love her simply, without problems or pride: I love her in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or her, so intimate that her hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep her eyes close. I have may not been her first, her last, or her only. She loved before she may love again. But if she loves me now, what else matters? She's not perfect-I'm not either, and the two of us may never be perfect together but if she can make me laugh, cause me to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, I will hold onto her and give her the most I can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give me a part of her that she knows only I can break-her heart. So I will try my hardest not to hurt her, don't change her, don't analyze and don't expect more than she can give. You don't love someone because they're perfect, you love them in spite of the fact that they're not. Because perfect girls don't exist, but there's always one girl that is perfect for you. And that's what I love about Allison, she's perfectly imperfect.
She begins to stir in her sleep but I still hold on to her. With out thinking I begin to lightly sing to her and almost instantly her body relaxes at the sound of my voice.
"It's the way that you blush when you're nervous.
It's your ability to make me earn this.
I know that you're tired, just let me sing you to sleep.
It's about how you laugh out of pity,
'Cause lets be honest I'm not really that funny.
I know that you're shot, just let me sing you to sleep.
If you need anything, just the say the word.
I mean anything.
Rest assured, if you start to doze, then I'll tuck you in,
and plant my lips where your necklaces close.
It's those pills that you don't need to take,
medicating perfection, now that's a mistake.
I know that you're spent, just let me sing you to sleep.
It's your finger and how I'm wrapped around it.
It's your grace and how it keeps me grounded.
I know that you're weak, just let me sing you to sleep.
If you need anything, just the say the word.
I mean anything.
Rest assured, if you start to doze, then I'll tuck you in,
and plant my lips where your necklaces close.
While you were sleeping I figured out everything,
I was constructed for you, and you were molded for me.
Now I feel your name, coursing through my veins.
You shine so bright it's insane, you put the sun to shame.
If you need anything, just the say the word.
I mean anything.
Rest assured, if you start to doze, then I'll tuck you in,
and plant my lips where your necklaces close.
If you need anything, just the say the word.
I mean anything.
Rest assured, if you start to doze, then I'll tuck you in,
and plant my lips where your necklaces close." Finishing off that last line I feel her body turn around, he watery eyes looking into mine. She leaned towards me slowly, until her face was too close to be in focus. Her hair fell over my shoulder like a curtain and her eyes closed. She smelled like roses and spring combined, if that was even possible. I felt my heart beating erratically, caught inside the confines of my own body as her lips landed just on the edge of mine, almost at my cheek and not quite my mouth.
"I really do love you," she said so softly, the words sweet as mint on her breath every time she talked.
Allison-
"I love you so much" I whispered, slamming my lips into his.
He flinched with surprise, but eventually caressed my face so he could deepen the kiss. My nails dug into his back, and he trailed his lips down the edge of my chin, down the center of my neck. He'd moved toward me again. His hands released mine and moved to my waist, and I noticed I wasn't the only one breathing heavily. He pulled me to him, bringing our bodies together. The world was all heat and electricity, thick with tension that was only one spark away from exploding around us. I pulled away slightly as I rested my forehead against his.
"You're dangerous, Allison" he said, and at the moment so many details came into focus. The shape of his lips, the line of his neck.
"I'm not dangerous," I breathed.
He brought his face toward mine. "You are to me."
And somehow, against all reason, we were kissing. I closed my eyes, and the world around me faded. The noises around us was all gone. All that mattered at the moment was the taste of his mouth, a mix of tobacco and mints. There was a fierceness in his kiss, a desperation and I answered, just as desperate for him. I didn't stop him when he pulled me closer. I'd never been wrapped around someone's body like that, and I was shocked at how eagerly mine responded. His arm went around my waist, pulling me onto him further, and his other hand slid up the back of my neck, getting entangled in my hair. He took his lips away from my mouth, gently trailing kisses down to my neck. I tipped my head back, gasping when the intensity returned to his mouth. There was an animalistic quality that sent shock waves through the rest of my body with every touch he left.
"We should get up, it's late." I muttered through the kisses, my fingers playing with the hair on the nape of his neck.
"Let's not" he said, nuzzling his face into my face, leaving kisses which practically set me on fire.
"Harry" I groan as I successfully untangle myself from him as I hear a knock on the door.
Oblivious I open the door not expecting to see the face I desperately do not want to see.
"Surprise to see me, babe?"
