Snowflakes in Summer (Jerza, Nalu, Gale, and Gruvia)

Chapter Three

Juvia P.O.V.

The smell of chlorine hit me as I opened the pool doors. I took a deep breath of its aroma as I took a step into the gigantic indoor swimming pool. The pool was extremely large and had two diving boards on each end. I looked around to see if there was a changing room and immediately found it. I ran inside to throw my swimsuit on so I can jump into the embrace of water once again.

As I stepped out of the changing rooms, I ran towards the glimmering water of the pool and-

Thud

"Ow!" I winced, rubbing my head. It was like I ran into a stone statue. I slowly opened my eyes only to see the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life.

His hair was a black, spiky mess and his eyes were the perfect shade of black. He was wearing light blue trunks and he was well built.

I gawked until he interrupted the moment with his voice. "Um," he had a concerned look on his face. "You alright?"

His hand was outstretched because apparently, I fell on the ground without knowing. I blushed profusely and accepted his hand.

"Gray Fullbuster," he grinned as he helped me up. I heard all the girls surrounding us swoon and/or shooting dirty looks at me.

"Juvia Lockser," I blushed even more. "I-I have swimming class with c-coach Aquarius right now I need to go..."

"Oh I have her too," he replied nonchalantly. "Let's go together."

My heart felt like it was going to explode.

We walked with reasonable distance between each other as we headed for the deep end of the pool. I kept staring at his face until he would look my way. Then, I would shift my gaze somewhere else.

"So," he started talking. "I'm sorry about bumping into you I needed to talk with my friend Lucy. Do you know her?"

The mention of her name coming from Gray's mouth immediately made me hate her. How dare she. How dare she try to make a move on my Gray.

"Hey," he wove his hand in front of my face. "You alright? You're making a weird face."

"Y-yes!" I exclaimed. "I'm just really cold because I...haven't swam in the pool yet."

"Then let's go," he escorted me towards the coach. "Hey co-"

"Why were you not here yet?!" the coach bellowed. Her face was a beet red and she looked furious. "Detention. And swim fifteen laps around the pool. Now.

Gray P.O.V.

I groaned as I dipped my feet into the lukewarm water. Fifteen laps? Now that was too much. My sport is hockey. Not swimming, and it's not my fault I'm good at swimming. I looked around to see where that blue-haired chick was. She was floating behind me and staring at me endearingly.

Now, don't get me wrong. I love girls falling for me, but she was...a different type of girl. I don't know how to put it. She wasn't makeup-obsessed like the other girls but really creeped me out.

I started swimming around the pool...and that girl was still tailing me. I started going faster, and she did the same thing. Oh my God she was scarier than I thought.

After fourteen more laps of trying to get far away from the girl, I removed myself from the waters and rested on the edge of the pool. Water kept trickling down my eyes so it was hard to see, and before I knew it, Juvia Lockser was right in front of me.

"What?!" I jumped. Her face was hovering inches next to mine and it felt like her blue eyes were staring into my soul.

"U-um," she was stuttering. She was trying to say something, but I really wanted to get away from this chick.

"I was wondering if," she was blushing now. Oh why do I have to be stuck in this situation? I slowly crept away as she was looking to the other side just before she was going to tell me.

I ran into the boys' changing room and quickly threw my clothes on so I could make my getaway. I didn't feel safe until I was out of the pool doors.

I took a sighed in relief as I walked to my next class. But still. Detention? With her? I shuddered.

"Please let there be more people than just the two of us," I muttered. "Please."

And yet, I never knew what she was going to say.

{Sorry this was so short! And Jerza is next! Mwehehe... Jerza is actually my OTP so this will be exciting. And I'm sorry for the GaLe fans I just don't know what to do for their story. I mean, a basic delinquent x smart person is sooo overused. But whatever. :3 Stay tuned!}
