I turned towards the small figure falling onto the ground. Blood leaked from her nose as she hit the ground with a thud. I was frozen in shock, and so were those two bastards. Looking at the unconscious body on the ground, I quickly knelt over her. She seemed okay, but it looked like she might have a small concussion.
"Oi," a voice said behind me. It was the one with the spiky orange hair. He sneered, rubbing his knuckles. They were tainted with streaks of red. It was that girl's blood.
"Now that she's gotten rid of," the other dude stepped forward. "We can deal with you."
Ignoring the two, I picked up the girl princess-style and started walking out the alley. They were shocked that someone decided to go against their commands, since everyone followed them after all.
"Hey!" the carrot-haired teenager punched me with unbelievable force. I staggered back until I was back against the wall. My nose was warm with overflowing blood and my vision was slightly blurred from the tears.
"You should learn to obey your elders," he kicked my shin. I doubled over, but I managed to keep the girl in my arms.
"I'm sorry," I wheezed. "I don't listen to ungrateful little snots like you guys."
"Why you," one of them growled. They began to raise fists up into the air, so I turned so I was facing the wall. My back began being assaulted with many methods of punches and kicks.
Amidst the pain, I looked down to my arms to see if she was okay. Her hair was mussed up and part of her face was crusted with dry blood, but at least she wasn't harmed too much.
Sighing in relief, I then focused my attention on the pain that was being handed to me. My head was becoming light and it felt like my back was going to snap at any giving moment.
"What the hell are you two doing?" I heard a feminine voice reply. The pain seized for a brief moment as I turned to see who it was. It was one of the school teachers. Ms. Strauss, I believe. I looked at her in utter shock because she had the nerve to talk to these guys.
The three of us stared at her angry figure in shock, but then the orange-haired dude snickered. "Even if you did know, what are ya gonna do 'bout it?"
The two started sneering, but their expressions slowly twisted into shock as they were lifted in the air and thrown onto the ground.
That lady can pack a punch.
"Mr. Redfox!" her stern voice cut through the awkward silence. "What happened?"
"I-I," I tried to find the right words to say. "I ran into some goons..."
"Well we have to get you to the hospital," she sighed as if she's seen this happen before. "And is Ms. McGarden alright?"
I looked at the unconscious bundle in my arms. "I think so..." I muttered.
"Well let's go," she helped hoist me up. She's surprisingly strong, considering how weak she looks. "We should go get you some medical attention."
"I'm fine," I interjected. "They're small scratches. I've had worse."
She rose a disapproving eyebrow but gave me her consent.
"Then please give me Ms. McGarden so I can carry her to the hospital," she held out her arms.
"Nah," I started walking. "I'll take her there."

"Oi! Watch it!" I heard a deep voice say.
"Guys, stop fighting!" my voice rang out. I felt myself running towards these unidentified figures until-
"What the?!" I abruptly sat up, but there was a sudden ringing in my head and I was forced to lie back down. "Where am I?"
"Hospital," the deep voice I heard in my dream replied. "You've gotten a bad concussion."
"What?" I asked, confused. "Why would I-oh...that's why."
He nodded his head. When I saw what he actually looked like, he was patched up with bandages and gauze. He also had a bunch of nasty bruises.
"Are you okay?" I asked him.
"Yeah, I'm fine," he winced while stretching his arm. "Just a little banged up."
There was a bit of an awkward silence until he stood up and started out the door.
"W-Where are you going?" I attempted to sit up for a moment, but immediately plopped back onto my pillow.
"School," he replied sheepishly. "Duh."
"O-oh," I looked down at my fumbling fingers. "Well, u-um thank you..."
Silence.
"Yeah," he grumbled with his back turned towards me and stepped out the door right when-
"It's an emergency!" I heard the nurses shout. They were rolling a gurney with a pale kid our age on it. There was copious amounts of blood on the sheets as well, and he was wearing:
A Fairy Tail Academy uniform.
"Wait!" I called out. "Who is that on the-" But the nurses were already gone. The deep-voiced boy (I forgot to ask for his name!) stood there, muttering something about jelly, then walked off. I was left alone.
I laid down to look up at the ceiling. Who was that man? Why did the boy say something about jelly? And also, did the boy have any affiliations with that gang in the alley? All these questions were bouncing around in my head but I had no one to talk to. Letting out an irritated sigh, I rolled onto my side.
I'll ask Lucy as soon as I recover.
{JESUS CHRIST I AM LATE. OH MY GOD. But ehehe, a lot lf things were happening in this chapter. And who's this "jelly" I wonder *wink wink* I guess we'll find out later *evil laugh* but yeah, NaLu is next (: }
